I contacted Clock Repair Service due to Kudzu reviews. I explained to them that my grandfather clock had quit working. We had some interior floor and painting work done and that moving the clock may have caused the problem. The lady told me "the way they handle it is that they would send someone out to pick up the clock 'insides' and bring them back for repair. Once repaired they would bring back the clock and re-install it in the cabinet and make sure it works properly. The repair would take about 3 weeks and would cost $185." I agreed and we set up an appointment. On June 23, someone came to the house but he told my wife that he was there to repair the clock not to pick it up. I had scheduled the pick up so my wife would be there but had an appointment so she could not stay for the repair. My wife called me and told me what the clock guy said and I explained that I was told by the lady that he would take the clock insides with him and repair it and bring it back in 3 weeks. He took the clock insides with him. I waited for 4 weeks and contacted the company. I spoke with the lady and she was not aware of picking up the clock. I told her that I did not make it up and that I was told that is the way they would handle it. At that time nothing had been done to the clock. I waited another two weeks and called on July 21, 25, Aug 4 and 7th and still NOT READY. I am now working with BBB for resolution. If that does not work then small claims crt. TERRIBLE CUST SVC

After checking various reviews and calling 3 repair places, we decided to have Clock Repair Service come clean and re-oil our grandfather clock. The price was very fair, and all of our questions were timely answered in good detail which we submitted via several e-mails prior to deciding to use this business. The website even describes the work done on cleaning grandfather clocks. Bob was on time, very efficient, wore white gloves while working, and then re-freshed our memories on how to properly operate our clock. He even told us what not to do regarding our clock. We will definitely use his services again and recommend his business to everyone.

My wife and I brought our great grand parents kitchen clock to Bob and it was in pieces. We found it in the attic at my parents and it was in a box, broken in about 10 pieces. Bob took it in, returned it promptly and it look as good as the day it was made. You could not see any of the repairs on the case. The clock looked fantastic and ran great. Been keeping great time. I would highly recommend his service to anyone that has a broken clock or just needs 1 cleaned. My wife and I are now looking for old clocks at sales that we can bring to Bob. We know he will make them look brand new. THANKS WHAT A GREAT JOB
