We were customers for several years before the new owner/vet took over. Very over-priced. Even the simple things like the yearly exam and shots cost $250 (2 dogs). I went to Pet Vet a mile away and paid $140 (2 dogs). I sent a friend there because he needed a vet and both the vet and the staff treated him like crap. Everything required extensive tests (which immediately tells me they have no clue and are inexperienced). And they wont give you a Rx so you can save money; you must buy it from them. Do yourself a favor and find another vet. Wish Dr. Candy and Dr. Marlene were still around!!!

Our family has used this business for years and we've been dissatisfied several times but the convinence of their location kept us coming back but their love of the dollar over the concern of our pet has really angered us to no end at this time and we're moving to another vet as we should of done years ago.

I love CMAH, this is the perfect place to take your animals. From the time you walk in, till you walk out, you feel loved by everyone that works here. They are very patient with animals and it shows. This is a very clean place.

Dr. Sue and Dr. Jennifer have cared for 3 of our Golden Retrievers, 2 pet rats, and our new kitten (The 7 Pound Terrorist!). We love and trust them. In fact, they came to the office on a Sunday when we were working to save one of our dogs. It pains me to see that some have not had the greatest experience there. They are generous, caring, and less expensive than our former veterinarian. We've used them for care, boarding, and grooming. All have been outstanding. Hope this helps!

We've used Coal Mountain Animal Hospital for a few months now and I believe they are very reasonable and thorough. We've boarded our dogs there as well and have no complaints with the service or care of the animals. We highly recommend them.

I love Coal Mountain - I drive 30 miles just to use them. The price is so much better than the vets in the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area. The front office staff is always helpful and competinent - but not necessarily friendly. However, the vets and techs are great.

The office manager there has no class, and is downright rude. As typical they just push products your pets don't need (like yearly shots, and flea and tick POISONS). They should fire the manager, she needs to learn the word customer service.

I highly recommend Coal Mountain Animal Hospital and specifically Dr. Jennifer Palmer. If it weren't for her, my cat Moose wouldn't be alive today. He has FLUTD. She went above and beyond what any other vet would do (opened the clinic for me on a Saturday evening when Moose became totally blocked and would have died from kidney failure if not treated immediately). I couldn't afford to take him to the after hours vet and spend thousands of dollars. She cut me a deal on his 4 day stay and now he is 100% recovered. Dr Palmer is a true ANGEL! Thanks to her Moose is happy and healthy today! If you have a cat and you live north of Atlanta, take him/her to Dr Palmer! You won't be sorry!

Our cats are real fond of the vets at Coal Mtn. and do are we. Since moving to this area over 5 years ago, we have always used Coal Mtn. A few times our cats have needed somewhat costly procedures and we have called around to get some competitive pricing and there was never another vet who was able to come close to Coal Mtn's prices. Recently one of our cats was diagnosed with a life threatening illness and the vet was there every step of the way, even expediting test results to make the wait less stressful. Now that we have a course of treatment for our cat's fatal illness, they are very supportive in helping to maintain a high quality of life for our pet. Two of our four cats also board at Coal Mountain for a week at a time at least 3 times a year. We have always been very satisfied with their treatment of our pets while we are gone. Again, their pricing is much less expensive than other vets in the area.

We went to CMAH because it was close to home. The first visit was just blah. The office staff didn't act liked they cared if I was there or not. I was NOT pleased with the customer service. The vets weren't very nice either. Nobody smiled. It was like I was wasting their time. Another thing, I know a vets office isn't supposed to smell like roses, but the place was old, run down, and dirty. To top it all off, they were expensive as crap. I found a different vet in the area and am much happier. I spoke with several other people in the area who felt the same way and have changed vets due to the lack of quality customer service. A smile and a thank you doesn't cost anything and its the best retention for your customers.
