I got into a painful car accident and was referred to Coastal Pain by my attorney. I had unbearable pain following the accident... to the point where I couldn't sleep and had a hard time getting around. I received a call from their referral coordinator, Neda, (this was nice that I didn't have to chase them down). She was so compassionate to my situation and took care of all the leg work of getting my records from my physician and chiropractor and got me scheduled in 3 days. When I went for my appointment, the check in gal was accommodating and quick to get me back. Dr. Miller came in and I can say this is the first doctor I've ever seen that I felt TRULY really cared about my condition. He wasn't quick to just diagnose something. He really took his time to examine and understand my situation before diagnosing just to diagnose. He isn't like one of those doctors that just jumps in and out of the waiting room.. he will stay, answer all your questions, and make sure you're comfortable. I've been receiving trigger point injections and I can say that my pain is 70% better... it's going to be a long haul before I get better due to the severity of the accident.. but progress is all I can really hope for day by day.. and thanks to Dr. Miller and Coastal Pain, I am getting that. Thank you Coastal Pain!

I had to ask 3 times for accommodations for my migraines, By ADA law they MUST make reasonable accommodations for people with medical conditions. Migraine sufferers beware: the waiting room smelled like a perfume counter, the TV was on full volume, cell phones were going off, and the radio was on. When I was finally accommodated, I asked the manager why they don't have a 'no perfume' policy she was rude and basically told me I was the one with the problem and asked if we should step into another room to discuss it! Not only was I finally given a chair in the hallway (AFTER ASKING 3 TIMES -- WHILE THERE WERE PLENTY OF NURSES CHATTING AWAY AND DOING NOTHING AND WHO WERE AVAILABLE TO HELP), the manager (who wore more perfume than anyone), came out into the hallway and said Dr Patel would like to speak to me. Dr Patel did not apologize for breaking the ADA law. Instead, he lectured me on not being the type of patient he felt like he could work with. He said he would look over my records and THEN decide if I was fit for his practice because he said, "We are getting off to a bad start." I was provided with no care and no concern from him or anyone on his staff. When my husband went to the office to complain the manager was "unavailable" and he was aske

Coastal is basically a prescription vending machine. In the long time I have been there I have never ever have seen any chiropratic activity or any thing like that offered to me. the only reason to go there is if medication is your only hope otherwise it's all about $$$ by recommending epidural shots that do not seem to do any thing but cost a lot of money. Usually if you don't make sure yourself that everything from A-Z is exactly right a mistake will be made! I am not very happy that the place is basically ran by pa's that are usually about 24 years old and seem to have something to prove and it's like a revolving door for employees. this review is not done out of anger or rebellion, it is simply the truth! if you do go there Dr. nathan Miller is the only open minded doctor to see and if you choose a different doctor you will probably be sorry! THANK YOU!
