Called on a Sunday, was planning to leave a message but Frank picked up the phone! Pretty much diagnosed the issue over the phone. I brought our 55 inch Samsung over on Monday morning. Frank got the part in 1 day and here it is Tuesaday and I have my TV back working perfectly. The $20 Frank charged for the diagnosis went toward the final repair- this was discussed up front. The service was great, timely, and reasonably priced. Frank was extremely knowledgeable and described exactly what the issue was- he also provides a 90 day warranty on the work. Best in class service- highly recommended!!!!

Not honest!!! I called them and asked for a quote to fix my receiver. Frank told me just bring it in and he will tell me what is wrong with it for free, and then i can decide to fix it or not. Well first of all I called him back when he told me, which was about 3 day later to find out the details, he didn't have an answer for me until 6 days later. Then he told me the price and i said it was too expensive and id like to pick it up. He said no problem, but you have to pay me $20 to put the unit back together!!! Wow. that was never discussed. SO if you take you stuff there make sure you discuss the hidden fees upfront.

I called Frank to describe my TV issue over the phone and he knew exactly what the problem was. When I brought in my TV to his store the next day, he remembered my name and took the time to explain what was wrong. He fixed it next day at a very reasonable cost, making my whole repair experience great from start to finish. Frank is very professional, honest and a pleasure to deal with.

We always have a movie marathon on New Years Day. My Samsung DLP TV died just before Christmas. Frank was able to find the problem, pick-up the part and get the TV repaired before New Years Day, and he did it very economically. I would absolutely recommend Frank and Cobb Electronic Repair.

This guy is amazing; he remembered the smallest details about who I was and about my TV 5 months after it was fixed. He has fixed two of my tvs now and came out to my house once. Honest and reliable.

This place is not only hard to find, but the service it offers is also hard to find.I had a hard time finding the place because it's hidden behind the FED EX office. I did not know I was in the right place so I called and the gentleman on the phone gave directions on how to get to the store from the parking lot. I went in and was greeted in a very friendly way. I explained to the gentleman, who is the owner of the place, the problem I was having with the camera. Actually I had not used the camera for 4 years since my son's graduation. I finally transfered the video to a DVD cd and when I finished I was not able to open the cassette holder. I had tried for several days to no avail. I went to the internet looking for a repair shop for digital cameras and found Cobb Electronic Repairs in the KUDZU page. After reading the comments from previous customers , I knew that was the place for me. He took the camera and inspected it visually and pressed the open/eject button and opened it right away. I must have forgotten how to do it and I was trying to open the lid from the wrong side. Just as I was to ask him how much I owed him , he told me there was no charge. That is very uncommon nowdays. Must places charge you for just inspecting the item and charge you a lot for just tightening a screw. we talked for a while and I thanked him. He was very pleasant and friendly. This is hard to find, more so than his place One thing for sure ,now I know whee I will take my electronic items

My Samsung lcd tv developed a problem when it was turned on. The tv would click and play the startup chime several times before turning on. I also got a screen of pink pixels occasionally. It appears this is a common problem with Samsung tv's and progressively gets worse until the tv will no longer turn on. After reading the reviews here, I decided to call Frank and get a free estimate for the repair. Frank was already very familiar with the Samsung tv problem and stated he had already repaired about ten tv's with this problem. Frank repaired the tv for a reasonable price in a reasonable amount of time with a guarantee. I highly recommend Frank.

The repair was done in a timely fashion with no hidden costs. Vince was very professionl personable and knowledgeable. I was expecting the worst but Vince found the simple fix of the sattelite needed re-setting. He could have told me I needed a new anything in the TV and charged me an arm and leg but he did not. I will use them in the future and recommend them to anyone with a repair problem. Thanks Frank & Vince

I called them because of there Kudzu reviews. As expected, they exceeded my expectations. Frank is a nice, smart guy who took the time to answer all my questions and had my 60" TV fixed by 8:30pm the same day. Price was very reasonable. I will use him again and call him before I buy another TV. What a great find. I love Kudzu.

I found Cobb Electronic on Kudzu.com and used them because of the 5 star ratings. The owner was very knowledgable and helpful. I brought my TV/VCR combo in on a Saturday. I asked if it was possible to have it fixed by Tuesday because I wanted to tape a favorite program. He was very gracious and offered to look at it that day. I was able to pick it up by Tuesday and it works wonderfully. The service was great and the price was low. I received honest, friendly and efficient service and I would use them again.

We called Cobb Electronics & spoke to Frank regarding our Sony TV. During the conversation he was very knowledgeable & courtetous. He came to our house and diagnosed the problem. He took the bad circuit board to his shop and replaced what was needed. Very few tv technicians now days would do that, usually you have no choice but to buy the whole new board. He is very professional in his work and saved us a lot of money. We will highly recommend him for any tv repair jobs!! EXCELLENT SERVICE and a JOB WELL DONE!! Thanks, Rafael & Elizabeth Z
