I have been going to Cobb Galleria Automotive for several years now. I have taken my car in for everything from emissions inspections to brake work and they are always honest, helpful and affordable. I have nothing but good things to say about this shop. It's so hard to find a place to take your car that is not trying to sell you unecessary parts or misdiagnose car trouble. With Cobb Galleria Automotive you can feel assured you are getting excellent work at a low cost. I have recommended this shop to neighbors and friends and they have all reported back that they had the same exemplary customer service that I experience there.

I have been taking my car to Cobb Galleria Automotive for years and have always been pleased with their great service. As a woman, the friendly atmosphere, clean facility and reliable service give me a great sense of comfort. They never try to sell you things that you don't need and always offer me a ride to work. Jimmy and his employees are VERY competent and furthermore Jimmy is a very fair, trustworthy, honest and personable person. You cannot please everyone and the last review proves that (by the way, in what condition and how old was the car in question?). Anyway, I have been bringing my cars to Jimmy since 2000 and have NEVER had a problem. My most recent GREAT experience was just this past weekend. My 1999 Honda was sitting for six months, due to Ed Voyles Honda telling me I needed a new transmission ($3000), I decided to have it towed to Jimmy for him to check it just incase and to see if I could get a better price. After checking the car Jimmy said all I needed was a CV axle not a transmission, a $260 total job. Now if that is not competent I don't know what is. I am driving my Honda today. I really hate that one review could ruin Jimmy's good reputation and I will not let that happen. Don't take my word for it, the next time you need a repair try him. I'm absolutely sure you will not be disappointed.

My husband took his car in because it wouldnt start. $330 later, they said it was a bad ignition switch. we get the car back and got stuck at the store the very same day, for the exact same problem-car wont start. we had to walk home and my husband had to miss work to get it fixed, again. this time it was just a piece of plastic that had fallen in the gear shift. the plastic prevented the car from going into neutral. that was it! $330 bucks to remove a piece of plastic!! they removed the plastic and the car works fine now. They gave us no refund on the ignition switch. they said they did their diagnostic, which was turning the key harder!! (that 'diagnostic was $90), and since that started the car then the switch was bad. that is ridiculous! sometimes the car would start that way for us, too. they also left a hose unattached under the hood. my husband pointed it out and asked if it wasnt supposed to attach to anything. the mechanic so 'no'. but then my husband pointed out a spot and said, 'what about there?' and the mechanic said, "oh ya, i guess it goes there." and re-attached it. im sure we would have been coming in again. Very incompetent.

Have had a mishap or two with them but they fixed the problem without additional charges. I gave them 4 stars despite that because in other cases they have gone beyond the call of duty when Jimmy works with you. Also if you don't go to the dealer you aren't going to get top notch service on your car frankly.

I've used Cobb Galleria Automotive a couple of times and have been pleased with their honesty, knowledge, and fair prices. The first time, I asked them to diagnose a rattle I was hearing as a second opinion after taking the car to the dealer. Cobb Galleria Automotive assured me it was normal for my car and did not charge me a thing to look at it when they could have easily performed some unnecessary work. More recently, my car's ABS came on and I heard a grinding noise at the same time. Cobb Galleria Automotive was able to correctly diagnose the problem as a faulty sensor and replace it at a reasonable cost. It's been several months now and the ABS light hasn't bothered me again. I would not hesitate to take my car to them for any type of repair or maintenance and highly recommend them.

My car had 170K miles on it - took it into Cobb Galleria for a check up/tune up. They did a great job: provided a detailed list of the repairs they identified and provided a very fair price. Jimmy & Co were very helpful and explained what each of the services was. Felt very comfortable dealing with them and would absolutely take my car there again.

Jimmy and the guys at Cobb Galleria Automotive are knowlegeable, helpful and don't try to talk you into unneeded repairs. They also treat me with respect - not like other places I've been to that think I'm some dumb woman that knows nothing about cars. They fix only what needs to be fixed at a fair and resonable price and will give you a maintenance schedule so you know what you need to look out for and can avoid major problems.

Cobb Galleria Automotive is always quick to let us know what is wrong with the car and has very fair prices, better than dealerships. They also do a computer print out of where the problem is and explain exactly what is going on.

My wife and I used Cobb Galleria Automotive for both our cars. The owner Tony is very knowledgeable and honest. Often Tony would take the extra time to explain (and show me) my car's troubles in great detail as well as offer any repair options. I took two vehicles I was thinking of purchasing to Tony for an inspection. Not only did he do the inspection's for free, he informed me of an accident one car had been in (and showed me the evidence) as well as warn me about transmission problems that year and make has had. I only wish they were open for longer hours during the weekday and on Saturday, but getting my vehicles checked by Cobb Galleria Automotive is definitely worth working around their hours of business.
