We took our car to get a wash and the attendent who wrote it up went into a long pitch about how they could buff the car's black paint and fix several visible scratches and some white marks on the bumper right on the spot. We negotiated a price of $120 which was supposed to include a full detail, hand wax, a (scratch and white mark fixing) buff and a protective seal in 2 hours. 2 hours turned into 4 and the car was still not done. When we finally got the car after 4 1/2 hours not only did it not look waxed, the scratches and white marks were untouched. The manager claimed it was not possible to get the marks out and that they would have never told us that. He told us if we wanted to stay longer, they would try it again, but he insisted we would need to bring them some black paint to thoroughly get the scratches out. We were not willing to stay the rest of the day, so the manager wrote on the back of the receipt that they would fix it on another day for free. The next day it rained and the rain didn't even bead off the car. We didn't want to waste our time going back to Cobblestone, so eventually we took the car to Danny's Family Carwash for a second opinion on the scratches and marks. They gave us everything the other place promised for HALF the price and did an absolutely immaculate job in just 1 1/2 hours - WITHOUT black paint. We were floored at the service and professionalism of Danny's and the car looked new. We tell everyone to NEVER GO TO COBBLE STONE - what a scam!
