In retrospect, when I called to inquire about service and they told me I could pick up the equipment to self-install and then went into the store to get it and was told a technician would have to install it, I should have just stopped and thought about it for a minute. And left. Instead I signed up for service and they came today. The technicians did ok, although they neglected to replace and secure the wiring cover on the side of my house. This evening when I went to print I realized the wireless printer had not been connected to my wireless network. I placed a call and held for 20 min only to talk to someone who couldn't help me and transferred me. I held for another 25 min and they also told me they could not help me. That person transferred me to Xfinity which is apparently not actually Comcast, but some kind of affiliated company. They told me I would have to PAY them for their assistance. Day 1 and I'm done. So glad I don't have a contract.

Had a technician over to my house to install the system. they ran a bright orange cable from the back of my house to the front across my driveway. the technician just left without saying anything or teaching us how to use the system.I tried to call them so they could bury it twice with no response. You will be better off calling direct tv or using Uverse. they are much more polite and helpful.

"Clueless" is the best word to describe this organization. I moved from Fulton to Forsyth and it seems like I've gone to the moon. C didn't tell me I couldn't use the same boxes in Forsyth Co until a tech came out, they charged me for the boxes that I moved, can't seem to figure out how to get local channels back after a storm, and wasted our time by scheduling an appointment to move a line and then came out and told us they can't go in the attic after 11:00 AM. I want AT&T U-verse but am willing to settle for Direct TV. I am DONE with this company.

I am sure the cable company provides excellent programming as many people I know subscribe to cable, but I could never get anyone to help me with installation. Each rep I was directed to said to call another rep. Finally I called comcast direct and they said their location eligibility software wasn't working, so they couldn't verify my location. After many calls to the corporate office to see if the problem was alleviated and being handed off from rep to rep, I gave up and installed an antenna instead. Not nearly as many channels but I have what I need to get by.

Customer service is not something this company has figured out. We have to exchange our DVR boxes every 6 months because they suddenly stop working. No one can seem to figure out why. Waiting on a service call is like waiting for Christmas. Getting a Saturday appointment, because you can't take off from work for that lovely 4 hour window, takes a month. While your waiting on that appointment you get BAD cable service. Are we all crazy for putting up with this?
