At your Hollywood, FL, 4571 Sheridan Street, Comcast Service Center, you can subscribe to Xfinity Services including Digital Cable TV, High Speed Internet, Home Phone and Home Security. You can also make a payment or pick up and exchange equipment
We got the internet self-setup deal. The modem installed fine. The way Comcast works is, before you can get online you need to set up your account, which is also done online after the modem is set up. When you open a browser window, the only page you can go to is the one inviting you to set up your Comcast account. This page has 2 buttons to click: one for customers and one for technicians who are setting up the account in the customer's home. Fine and well...except the customers' button sends you to an error page. Evntually I thought to go through the technicians button and do manage to set up a username and password. I also download more software called Comcast Desktop Software to set up the account itself, presumably. But this software also sends you to an error page. And now when I open a browser, it sends me to a different error page that says "forbidden, you must be logged in" but doesnt provide me with any way to log in. I call the local Comcast and the guy is like "um, if your CD drive doesnt work you may need for someone to come and install it for you." After I keep suggesting things he transfers me to tech support (only good part), and they reset the modem. Thankfully that worked and now I can go online, after an hour of bs. Writing this review is the first thing I'm doing lol. To summarize: webpage to set up the account doesn't work, account set-up software doesn't work. These are BASIC functions. I have never seen anything like this.
