I have Major health issues. On Aug 1st I called my Home Warranty Company and THAT EVENING Comfortex came to my home! They were able to repair my A/C right there. Friendly and professional. Thank you sooo very very much.

Thank you for the compliment; we appreciate your support.
I Am just Discussed By the reviews that these people have given this company, Iv been using them for A few years now and they always have jumped at all hours and been to my house in a timely manner. I could not even imagine using another company they make me feel safe and comfortable having them come in my home there polite clean and friendly unlike the snooty stinky none talking techs iv used before from other ocmpanys who over charge. For these other people depending on where u live u call them at 10 and its a snow storm don't expect them to be there by 11 ITS a snow storm there are probably 10 other people in front of u no matter what company your use and Jefferson county is big it can take a good 30 min to an hour to get to ones house so coming the next day is 100% acceptable. Give them a break here YOu guys rock keep up the Great work id say see you soon but since you been out last year Havent had any issues Thanks

But I was just without heat for several days during this lovely snowstorm and home with the kids who were also out of school. My home warranty company called Comfortex Monday night. When he hadn't called me by 10am Tuesday, I called him (sounded like I woke him up). He didn't want to commit to a time b/c he didn't know how bad the roads were going to be, so he said noon to 1:30pm. When he hadn't arrived by 2pm, I tried calling him again with no response. I called my home warranty co. back and they also tried to contact him at both the business and emergency #'s - no response. So they sent another company who arrived by 4:30pm (of course since it was so late, they couldn't get the part I needed, so we had to wait another day in the cold). The next night around 5pm - 27.5-29 hours after he said he'd arrive, the Comfortex guy actually shows up at my door. - What - did he think I was sitting there twiddling my thumbs in the cold with 2 young kids just waiting - NO WAY! I could not believe the audacity. HE also told me he'd call when he was on the way - but obvuiously he didn't or I'd have saved him the trip. He almost looked like he didn't believe me when I told him the warranty company already sent someone else to look at my furnace and they were taking care of it.

On 1/27/09 about 10:00 am we were contacted by the homeowner Nicole Lisk to service her furnace. Her particular warranty company does not dispatch by fax nor do they call, thus she was responsible for contacting us for service. This particular day we had very bad snow storm and a lot of emergency calls had come in. Her dispatch was not an Emergency otherwise the warranty company would have contacted us directly for service. Mike answered the phone that morning and explained to her that he could not give her an exact time because of the storm and the road conditions (which left all my technicians struggling to get to their appointments). He explained that he would try to get to her that day but could not promise anything, (which then she had the option to call her warranty company back and get someone else to service her) yet agreed with this arrangement. Unfortunately we could not get to her that day due to road conditions and an abundance of emergency calls that came in which took priority. On 1/28/09 my technician showed up as soon as possible and upon his arrival Ms. Lisk stated she had gotten someone else already who came on 1/27/09 (the original day she requested service). She did not cancel the appoint with us or we would not have kept her on the service list. She then stated that the technician did not even have the part and then had to wait until it came in thus having to go another night without heat. My apologies to Ms. Lisk for having to wait for service, unfortunately the weather dictated our route that day. We would have appreciated a call that day to inform us that she was having another service company coming out which was 6 hours after she called us, thus saving our time for another customer that was in need the following day.
Very RUDE Owner - Did NOT TOUCH THE UNIT AND LEFT AN INVOICE. WANTED TO COME THE SECOND TIME AND CHARGE FOR SECOND VISIT. DID NOT EVEN CHECK THE PRESSURE IN THE UNIT LEAVE ALONE ANY DIAGNOSTICS. WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR HOSING THE UNIT DOWN WITH WATER FROM OUTSIDE.

As most of our work is warranty work, when we come upon a unit that is in dire need of cleaning and there is no way of accurately getting pressure readings when a unit is %100 clogged. We offer to clean the unit at a cost to the customer, which is a maintenance issue and not our responsibility to clean their system. My apologies if the technician was rude, but I could see how it was construed that way when there is nothing that could have been done at the time. If this customer would have not been through an insurance company we would have worked things differently and addressed the problem dirty unit and all.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are very unprofessional. I scheduled a Saturday for them to come service and clean the AC for the spring / summer. They did not show up. I called them to find out if they were coming. They had a child answering their business line which to me is in appropriate. After I got an adult on the line ...the woman apologized and said she thought she had called me. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled for 2 weeks later. ONCE AGAIN ...they did not show up or call. I called them to find out what was going on ...and I was hung up on. This is certainly not a way to run a business. Our family is in law enforcement so you can imagine how valuable our Saturdays off are to us.

My apologies to this customer for missing this appointment as I had stated before. In regards to a child answering the phone (as stated in our Business Stats we are a family owned business and we will pass this down to our children) who are 16 and 19 need to learn how to answer phone calls and handle customers. Once again I do apologize for missing this service call and do realize your time is as valuable as mine. This has certainly been rectified since this time and I make every effort not to miss anyone again.
