Four campuses serve the approximately 1600 students enrolled in the District. Commerce Elementary School houses Pre-K through second grade, and was built in 1991. A. C. Williams Elementary serves third graders through fifth graders in a new structure completed in 2009. The 66,400-sq-ft structure has 24 regular classrooms, six resource classrooms, an art room, two computer labs, a science room and a music room. Every classroom is equipped with the latest technology for teaching 21st century learners.
Commerce Middle School serves as a secondary campus with sixth through eighth grades. That facility was remodeled in 2000-2001 when the high school moved to its new structure. Commerce High School occupied its new building in the Fall of 2000. The 150,000-sq-ft structure sits on 85 acres leased from Texas A&M University-Commerce for $1 per year.
