At Companion Animal Hospital our health care team is a highly tight knit group of veterinary health care professionals. We pride ourselves in the way our relationships with each other merge in the compassion and care we provide for our patients.
I have personally taken my dog, Tucker, to a few different clinics around town. I was a little picky when I was trying to find the perfect place for my dog to visit througout his life. A friend recommened Companion Animal Hospital. I got there for the first time and the assistant who checked Tucker out first was very nice, she took excellent notes about the things I told her, & was gentle with Tucker when examining him, taking her temp, etc. The vet was also very nice and friendly & super easy to talk to! She was great about checking out the few things I had concerns about, was very delicate, explained things to me very well, and got her all set up with meds (flea & Heartworm). I left with a good piece of mind :) These are true companions

I would like everyone in the Wichita area to know how disappointed in Companion Animal Hospital I am. We have been taking our dogs there for over 4 years and were out of town this past weekend and boarded our dogs. Ursula, our black dog, got really sick while being boarded and was in a lot of pain. The kennel called Companion and they refused to see Ursula since we were out of town and couldn't pay upfront for any services she needed, saying they don't invoice their clients. Even after the kennel explained that Ursula was in a lot of pain they still refused to see her. It's a horrible feeling to have the vet you've been going to for years turn your sick pet away while you're helpless and out-of-town. Needless to say, Companion obviously doesn't care about our pets & is no longer our vet. I'm going to advise all of you with pets to never go there. I'm taking the thousands of dollars we will undoubtedly spend on our pets over their lifetimes elsewhere. We considered switching a couple years back and unfortunately we didn't, but this has sealed the deal - never taking our pets there ever again. Even if Companion's prices are comparable to other vets in town, it's not worth it- I'd rather spend more at a vet office that puts my pets' health first. Thank you, Wag'en Tail Ranch in Valley Center for being so diligent and taking our Ursula to a vet who cares for the well-being of animals and saw her right away even though we'd never been there before (Chisholm Trail, Park City).

I am personally aware of 4 dogs that have incurred bite wounds while playing at the doggie day care here in the last 2 months, 2 were severe enough to require veterinary attention and antibiotics. All of them are dog friendly dogs and all of the owners stated that no one knew or saw what happened. I would not leave my dogs in the care of a place that wasn't monitoring the play activity.
