I schedules my move almost 2 months in advance. Contacted them several times to confirm schedule and price. I contacted them three days before move (local) and was told all was on track and that they would call the day before with the time. They called the day before to cancel and did not offer me any solutions or reasons - just that they were not coming. I had to be out of the house the next day. Be careful with booking and relying on them. RESPONSE FROM Condor Moving Systems: Dear Ms. Lough, We apologize for any undue inconvenience this may have caused you during this stressful time as it is certainly not our intention do to so. Due to unforeseen circumstances another customers shipment became more cumbersome than expected & initially communicated to us which tied up the crew scheduled to accommodate your pick up. Unfortunately in these rare instances we have to do our best to accommodate both valued customers to the best of our ability. We did offer a solution or alternative for Sunday, the next day; however, you declined the solution and alternate date and we did not charge a cancellation fee as we do reserve the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances such as this.We appreciate your feedback and hope you will consider us again in the future.

First, the good: I spoke with Drew during the estimate and contract phase of the process. Drew has been nothing short of amazing and professional. He is probably the only reason this company is able to earn business. He wasn't pushy, was very friendly, considerate of my timeline, and probably gave me about a good a deal as I could expect. Now the bad: the contract states mattress boxes/bags aren't required, but the guys that showed up wouldn't load it without one, and it came at an additional charge. Several items had to be boxed, that I thought was unnecessary, and this came with nominal fees. Then, the estimate weight was off, because the estimate system doesn't account for the weight of the boxes accurately, and I got hit with an additional $300+, since the cost per pound was almost twice what the estimate entailed. Any time I spoke with Jesse, I got frustrated. He seemed to be in a great hurry any time my husband was the one to answer the phone, to the point that he used the wrong credit card info for the final payment. Then I didn't get called the day my truck left, and my 2 hour delivery window change by 12 hours when it was already within the 24 hour delivery window. My truck showed up with just one poor guy to unload everything, including some over-sized furniture. That guy was a champ, and I'm very grateful for what he was able to do, because I couldn't physically help him. Then I saw one of my dressers has a hole in it. A dresser that is less than a year old, and is part of a matching set of furniture. I try calling Condor, but apparently nobody works on the weekends, and the claims extension is dead. They used a 3rd party to ship, and I was worried about how to file a claim, and what happens if I sign off on something. Very VERY frustrated. Drew was kind enough to put his personal cell phone on his company voice-mail greeting, so I called him practically in tears, and my next call was going to be to a lawyer. He informed me the person that has to handle

I don't have a problem with the movers from Condor Moving Systems, they were wonderful and very hard workers. I have an issue with the information the office gave me. At first, I hired a different company, then they transferred me to Condor Moving Systems because they work together. Well, it was a different policy that I entered into. I wouldn't have done it had I know how different it would be. It ended up costing me an additional $3000! They've done this 1000's of times with different people, they should know to tell people ahead of time to make sure to box and tie everything up and together. Also, they should be up front with their charges. If I ever move again, I won't be using their services!

Condor Moving Systems worked really hard at making sure everything we wanted was done the way we wanted it done. They worked very quickly. They helped us move and it turned out perfectly. The cost was even less than they had estimated. They are very trustworthy, efficient, and I highly recommend them.

We're a shipping company and we use Condor Moving Systems for all of out moves. If we have a container to load or a house to move, we call them. They are always quick to respond if there is a problem. They are wonderful people to deal with.

Apart from the head office - service center - I got the most awful service - the packers who packed me up - mislabeled boxes and just threw my goods in the boxes - the delivery staff were even worse - with not an ounce of common sense between them - the boxes were placed in my house in such a way that we are having a hard time unpacking - many boxes are mismarked. We have move a lot and decided to give Condor a chance over our usual movers - Allied - well we will be paying more for Allied next time as they do the job right from start to finish. This has been a VERY frustrating move.

I'm a repeat customer, and I've been with Condor Moving Systems three times. First two times they were great. This time, the move itself wasn't so bad, what bothered me was the foreman of three movers, he wasn't friendly. And my main problem was that I tipped the foreman $50 cash to be spread equally between the three movers. The two other workers did all the work. They were really nice, respectful, and had a great attitude. I called twice, and asked what the process is for tipping appropriately, and they said ten dollars is good. After the move was completed, I paid for the service in cash, and tipped the lead guy/driver $50 and said it was to be divided among all three. As he was walking away, I said "don't forget the $50 is to share", and he put his hand up to quiet me, because one of the other movers was entering. I though that was weird, so I made sure to tell Pasquale, who came in to use the restroom before they left, that the $50 is to be split between the three, just to be sure they all know. Then one of the guys called me, because they each only got $10 and the lead guy told them that I only gave $30. I called the company the next day, because this was my money that was intended to be divided equally among the three. But one guy kept more than his fair share. I was really disappointed because the company didn't pursue this further.I was disappointed in the company, and the lead denied the amount that I gave him for tip. Movers said this guy does this all the time. Its unfortunate for the movers. I was really disappointed in this whole experience. If you do want to tip, make sure you give the tip to each individual mover. If you give it to just this particular lead guy/driver, you can't be sure everyone will get their fair share.
The woman that I talked to to coordinate the move was very helpful. I called five days before I needed the work done, and she was very helpful in getting the moving on track. She gave me her personal cell phone number so I could call her during the weekend if I needed to.The men showed up and put everything on the truck and the rest of the move was fine.
This company will lie to you on the phone. They lure you in with a "great deal" that is cheaper than anyone else, and fail to mention that they are terrible at estimating how much your stuff weighs and will jack up the price. Our initial estimate was for $1,900 and we ended up paying $3,500. We moved into an apartment, and they driver was terrible and wouldn't pull in close to the door so that he could collect a "distance fee" of an extra $100. The delivery men were lazy and we had to request that they put the bed/furniture back together. They would have left everything as is if we had not been there. We labeled all of our boxes, and they lost the only the on that was labeled "Medicine"... convenient, no? We lost over $1,000 of my wife's asthma medicine to this company because the lost the box.DO NOT TRUST THEM. They will absolutely low-ball you and then nickel-and-dime you until you have more than double what the initial estimate was.
They were careful not to damage anything important, they took good care of our objects. They handled things very well, and helped put everything back into the house. They were organized, and very polite. They had three employees come out and they were all excellent.

This was my first big truck move, so I was a novice who made the mistake of asking for an online quote. The next day my phone started ringing and it didn't stop for weeks. I quickly learned that moving companies are very persistent, competitive, and in some cases deceptive. Sandy at Condor was one of many helpful reps who gave me tips on how to select the right moving company and avoid disasters. She gradually won me over and when the time was right, she sent Emit to appraise my load and give me a binding quote. My family had lived in the same Dallas home for 21 years so I was still in the process of downsizing when he did the estimate. I was concerned that the estimate would skew high because it would be hard to sort out what was actually being moved. He calculated my load at 10,000 pounds and was only off by 350. He also made extremely accurate predictions about the type and number of boxes I needed. After meeting him, I was convinced that this was the company I wanted to work with. Sandy, Emit, and Jesse walked me through the next part of the process and on moving day a crew arrived in a 26' truck to tape and inventory my load until the eighteen wheeler arrived. Four men worked inside the house and two more packed the big truck. This crew absolutely blew me away. They were friendly, helpful, and the way they expertly handled the dollies loaded with heavy items was very impressive. They even took the time to help a family that had purchased my refrigerator take the handles off and load the unit onto their truck. This crew got me through the grueling process and made sure that everything was in order before they left. The scheduling on the receiving end was timed perfectly and Emit called to check on me that morning. He was concerned that I might not have gotten the cashier's check and since it was MLK Day, the banks were closed. I didn't have the check in hand, so rather than delay my delivery he worked out a payment option that solved the problem.

I had a terrible experience with Condor Moving Systems. First, the estimate they gave us was three times lower than what it ended up being. The put our stuff into the storage unit in such a disorganized way that we had to incur extra expense to have it done again. We found mini liquor bottles in the front yard. We will never use them again and do not recommend them to anyone.

Condor Moving Systems did two moves for us. One was to Seattle and the other was to Dallas. Both had delivery problems. They were friendly, but they need to work on their organization.
