Dear Reviewers, As the new Executive Director of CooperRiis, I want to thank you for your feedback, and invite you to contact me regarding your experiences. I arrived to CooperRiis on January 2, 2017, and have been warmly welcomed by a staff ranging in age from 21 to 90, and an impressive array of collective wisdom. I have also overseen the care of residents sober less than a year and who are now enjoying weeks and months of lasting sobriety. That said, I do believe in continual learning. Praises and honest criticismso help us grow. I welcome input on ways we might build on our 13 year tradition of promoting recovery for individuals struggling with mental illness and addictions. Sincerely, Michael Michael Groat, PhD Executive Director CooperRiis

Although they state "dual diagnosis" treatment in their brochure, do not send your loved one here if they have not been free of drug/ alcohol abuse for at least a year. They are not prepared to deal with someone who is recently sober (less than one year) from drugs or alcohol. There are freedoms here that could put your loved one in danger of obtaining illicit or over the counter medication/ drugs. The primary treatment focus is on mental health, outside of addiction. The treatment philosophy of the facility is sound. The therapists and staff are professional, friendly, and accessible. The setting and surroundings promote a healing environment.
Cost $30,000 - $99,999
