I paid full $136+$35 for basketball course for my son. Course is already started two weeks ago. They did not give any discount. It is okay. Front desk gave us time for practices. We were there 30minutes early. Waited an hour. No body came. There was no practice and nobody said sorry. I ask refund because of no practice. They said coach is changed practice time. It was two days past. They said they can not refund. I wont go there any more.

I've been a member of the Y since I was a child. I love the YMCA, but this location and the Peachtree Corneres location are nothing more than cheap daycare subsidized by the rest of the members. Kids play on the cardo equipment, roll around on the track, and make sexual gestures at the elderly members. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen. The staff response is little more than "They pay their dues just like you.". The staff even cut my lock off my locker while I was working out because someone had claimed they had left something in there before me that night. The YMCA was once a great place, but now it is a miserable place to go. I am sad they don't want to address these issues. I want to continue to go there, but it is a waste of time and money on my part. I'll go to a gym that appreciates its members,

Overall good however I feel the childcare and afterschool care is really beginning to impact useage of the gym. It recently seems hard to use the pool or track without screaming kids everywhere.

This gym has a variety of services for a little of everyone. Machines room is a bit crowded, but all the machines are up to date with TVs on cardio. Employees are friendly and the Zumba class is excellent!

incredibly friendly staff. some machines could be updated (the ergs), but overall a very good facility. lots of classes offered and teams and camps for the kids in the summer. it has provided me with some great memories.

The facility has great working equipment. Pool is always open and not too crowded. Childcare facility needs improvement. Staff is not really trained to handle infants.

I don't have kids so I can't speak to the kids programs. Advantages: Equipment in good shape, cardio machines all have tv/dvd/cd, nice variety of equipment and multiple cardio machines, indoor pool, early morning classes, clean, facilities, friendly staff and members, good hours, no contract, low pressure, can use other Ys in the country. Disadvantages: Crowded during peak hours, there is a lot of equipment in a fairly small space so it can get cramped, free weight room has a good bit of equipment but may not be big enough for power lifters. Overall, I like this gym, especially since it is very close to where I live.

This daycare says that they change diapers, but they barely ever do. They will come to get you if your baby cries even before they've checked the diaper. They don't have the staff to deal with a tired or sleepy baby so they will come get you. Also, you are allowed 2 hours if your baby is over 6 months old and they will make comments to you when you pick up the child and it's real close to that 2 hour mark (not over it).

I have been going to the Dunwoody YMCA for a few months. On the good side, it is well-kept and the weight machines are fairly new. I also love my trainer, Vince. On the negative side, they need more variety with their classes, especially the water aerobics. In addition, the infant/toddler daycare needs improvement in the areas of staffing, security and check-in procedures.

I have found that this location has something for everyone. We started using the "Y" for afterschool child care but have found we enjoy many of the activities offered.

I have visited this location and found it to be a very well kept locations. Clean surfaces, and floors are very important to me because it is really easy to contract germs.

I belong to the Decatur YMCA, but I attend classes and use the equipment at this location if my schedule has me in the area. The cardio equipment is nicer as well as the pool. It's clean, there's a great variety of classes and it's a gorgeous facility.
