Customer service horrible. They don't respond to customer feedback, concerns and suggestions. They are light years behind Georgia power in the fact that they have lack of rate plans for customers with electric vehicles. Wish I could switch providers but unfortunately they are the only electric provider for my area. Would certainly switch if I could.

I have a fixed rate of .537 a therm suddenly They switched my rate to variable and charged me .949. No warning no reminder no nothing. Watch you butt they they will increase on you without letting you know a darn thing. I don't care if it was the end of a contract I dont care if the sky was on fire. You don't just increase without calling and offering a new fixed rate.

Coweta-Fayette EMC the worst company I have ever given my business to. My services were interrupted with no notification being mailed out or anything. Then they claimed it was sent out. I still haven't received it. I have wasted so much money working with these ridiculous people.

My Feb 1- 15 gas bill is approximately $215 -- that's what you should expect with this rip off. Only $85 was for gas - the rest for BS fees. Did I say I have a moderate house with a brand new Trane HAVAC system? I was hit with two AGL fees - one for Feb and one for Mar -- that for the Feb billing and supposedly for two meter readings. I was billed for one AGL on 1 Feb (for Feb) and another AGL (also read on Feb 1 for Mar) all on one bill. I've always wanted Georgia Power - better incentives and rebates - and why I was dumb enough to add gas, I have no idea. Oh yeah, it was to get one consolidated bill - but you don't get that - you get two bills in one envelope. Gas has dropped 10 cents a therm since I signed up with these yahoos and now I'm stuck. Save yourself the grief - DO NOT SWITCH TO EMC GAS!!!!

We switched to Coweta Fayette from Inifite because they were cheaper, and we've been regretting it ever since. They structure their billing differently than Infinite, charging the AGL charge at the beginning of each month instead of at the end. This allows them to charge two customer service fees the first month (we got one bill for 12/1-12/1 - ONE DAY - with no gas charge, just the AGL charge, tax, and customer service charge, and a second bill for 12/1-12/20, with gas charge, January's AGL charge, tax, and ANOTHER customer service charge). When I called and pointed out that we had already paid a customer service charge for December, the different people I was transferred to all explained it away in different ways, none of which made sense. The final manager I spoke to just told me that they charge that fee every time they send out a bill, which explains the advantage of billing the AGL fee at the beginning of the month - one more customer service fee they get to collect from new customers. They were unhelpful and impolite. We filed a complaint with the PSC. Wishing we'd never left Infinite - I'd rather pay a little more for a company that isn't trying to screw me.

They were kind enough due to a clerical error to cut my gas off. Then, when I asked them to turn it on ASAP, they said they couldn't. Keep in mind, there was no warning- if they'd let me know, I could have cleared it up, but the idiots didn't even tell me- not even a notice or a note on my door. Never, ever again.
