I trust my Lexus dealer with complex issues but the costs at the Lexus dealer are huge. These guys are a solid, local shop who can do most maintenance and small repair/troubleshooting work. We have used them a number of times over the years. That said, they seem to have some trouble in dealing with /troubleshooting electrical issues. This could be due to not having someone on the team with the right skill set. They also don't seem to have a "front facing" customer service person so attitude and helpfulness depend on who you get to talk to. While they are all professional and helpful they can be very direct and to the point, sometimes verging on rude, especially on the phone.

I took my '93 TOYOTA P/U in w/failed emissions. They had said 'no problem'to their ability to diagnose. After changing the oil that I didn't want changed, they concluded it must need a Catalytic Converter.(EST.$1000.00 +/-) I wasnt convinced, took it elsewhere.TQS changed O2 Sensor and all is great.EXCEPT for the $100.00 check out fee. I've asked for only a partial refund but they haven't responded. VERY POOR BUSINESS.

Have used Tom Craig Automotive for a really long time and positively love the quality of their service. These guys are intensely considerate, professional, expert, fun-loving, honest and reasonable. Maybe even more important; those I've recommended to Craig's, report back with gratitude and high compliments.

I just called Craig's Automotive after reading all of these wonderful reviews. The person that answered my call was unbelievably rude. I was taken aback by his very unhelpful and blunt attitude. I simply asked him about the cost of having a tune-up on my Lexus GS400. He then asked me "What does that mean?". I then said, "Excuse me? What does what mean?" He says, "What does tune-up mean to you?" Now being that I'm not a mechanic, I didn't know how he wanted me to answer this question. I replied, "Spark plugs changed and whatever else is standard procedure..." To which he said "Well SIR, if all you want are your spark plugs changed then it's this price...and if you want blah, blah, blah...then it's this price...so which one are you talking about, SIR?" At that point I knew I wouldn't be taking my car to Craig's if this was my initial encounter. I think the proper way to answer my question would to maybe explain that there are different types of tune-ups and services performed at different mileage points on the Lexus. Depending on your mileage you will need, x,y,z and it cost, x,y,z. Like the very professional and informative young man that answered the phone at the next place I called. Thanks for nothing to the young man that answered my call today. I hope you learn a few people skills because I am sure you have turned more than a handful of people away. Especially in city where there are SEVERAL options!!!

A trustworthy mechanic. Who'd have thought it??! Craig Automotive mechanics are quick, fair, honest and dependable. They take care of my Lexus for me and are so reasonably priced...it amazes me every time I go!! I would recommend them to anyone who drives a Toyota or Lexus, as those are the cars the specialize in.

Tom has been taking care of our family cars for years. He and his team are ALWAYS honest, kind, caring and patient. When my car wouldn't start in a hospital parking lot, he was the first person I called (didn't think about calling my husband - LOL)! A person you can trust.

I found this repair place because it is near my house. Tom and his crew are extremely nice. This is a no pressure place and they repair only what needs repairing...nothing more. A good value.

Great car mechanics are one of those things that are like finding a diamond in the rough. You know they're out there, but you have to keep on searching forever to find one. There are certainly "good" mechanics, but you have to give up on price, customer service or something else along the way. Working with Tom and Craig Automotive has shown me that these elusive gems are out there, you just have to keep looking. Tom is one of those honest mechanics that is sadly rare in this day of getting money whenever and however you can. I have seen it over and over again with him in telling me just how much more miles I can squeeze out of a part and be safe knowing I'm on a budget. This along with the great service, amazing team and honest prices is what makes people refer him to all their friends. My family has gone to Tom Craig for so many years now that my decision in purchasing a new car right now may be decided on what cars he can work on. We know and trust that no matter if it's bringing a car of a different make in for him to tell us if it's worthy to buy or having him prep and keep my brothers car outside his shop for sale, we can always trust that Tom will help us with all of our car needs. I just wish he did everything from house work to taxes so that I could stop my endless pursuit for those gems.

Whether your need is for towing, quick repairs or expert diagnostics Craig Automotive can provide them. My experiences with them began with annual emissions checks. Later, I expanded my association with them to general auto maintenance and repairs - as I try to make my older cars last a while longer. The staff is friendly and the shop is clean. Men and women, young and old will feel comfortable with Glen and associates.

We have taken a Toyota and Lexus to Craig Automotive for serveral years now. The work is always top notch and the advice is always honest and on-target. If you live anywhere near the shop, take your vehicles there and they will take care of them for you.

Tom has worked on our Infiniti and our daughter's Honda over 5 years and I trust him completely. I wish he worked on Jeeps. I recommend him to everyone.
