CrossFit workouts are intense, functional, and constantly varied.
Intense: The workouts by today s standards are very intense. We want you to work hard and give it all you ve got. Your body will react according to the effort you put in. Get comfortable with uncomfortable! This is also a reason why we like to offer classes in a group setting. You ll naturally push a little harder with others around.
Functional: The movements we use in CrossFit are multi-jointed and rarely isolated (unless.. rehabbing an injury). The reasoning behind it is simple. We want you to treat your body as an entire entity working together to achieve anything. You will find yourself doing movements from gymnastics, weightlifting, powerlifting, and other sports that together help develop healthy motor patterns.
Constantly Varied: With all the different movement combinations and time domains, you ll rarely see a workout twice. We have benchmark workouts for tracking purposes but even those are once every few months.
Universal scalability of movements and workouts allow us to program for a fitness that is all-inclusive. We don t focus on any one physical skill, but instead do a little bit of everything so we can be always ready for the unknown. We want you to be good at everything!
