Coming up soon, still in process of getting work done. Vice President of this company shows up to evaluate my damage, I thought great. Yes Insurance agency did send him, but I had to start somewhere, so why not take insurance agency's recommendation. He was very polite, and he kept insuring me that customer satisfaction was all he cared about. He also said, what ever path I chose, will be path insurance will support. So we finish inspection and conclusion was I (customer) will chose what I want to do. So I call insurance agent and tell him I want wall torn down, as water damage is extreme. Insurance agent responds NO. We will go different path, as recommended by above VP. So, my issue here is why sell me, customer, crap-load of "it is all about you", when all he cared was to follow easiest path to make insurance happy. Now I am stuck with week/s of trying to dry this water damage, and no guaranty that mold will not show up later. At which time I am sure they will charge me for deductible again.
