Gone to this Veterinary clinic on many occasions. Great Immediate care anytime we have needed it. Daughter visiting over holiday, her Vet always used a muzzle for her dog, Dr. FitzSimons and staff did not need to at all. Very caring, conservative, and knowledgeable. We have used other Vets in the past, this one is the best by far. Worth the drive from anywhere in North Atlanta...

Premium prices for sub-par service. My dog was returned to me injured after boarding and grooming on 2 occasions. Front office staff was un-friendly when confronted with a problem. I would describe this vet as an assembly line designed for quantity not quality.

Dr. FitzSimons saved my Ragdoll cat's life on a chance early AM phone call. Denali had seized 30 times in 22 days & had beeen misdiagnosed. My AAHA vet sister in Houston urged me to find a vet who was competent! Dr. FitzSimons was the answer to our prayers & took my deperate early AM call & was able to see Denali that day. He spent nearly 2 hours examining and testing him. Amy Shojai, author of 23 pet care books, has now written Denali's case history on-line and credits Dr. FitzSimons with a life-saving Dx. Her article appears on Denali's web site where I also show this vet at work at: http://denali1.weebly.com I have 4 other Ragdoll cats who will now be going to CVC as well as a new Cockapoo puppy and an English Springer. I have had cats & dogs for 45 yrs. and was a CFA-/TICA-registered Ragdoll breeder for 5 years--so, I'm very demanding as an owner. He is meticulous, honest, and very expert in his vet knowledge. We couldn't be happier to recommend him to other pet owners. The staff is wonderful, attentive, and knowledgeable on all one's questions as well. I recommend CVC without reservation or qualification.

I've taken my cats to CVC for years. Loving care and attention is their standard. Previous comment about their clinic being an "assembly line of dogs" is completely untrue. I have never felt rushed or felt the staff was insensitive. Staff will spend as much time as they need to to answer all my questions and get a diagnosis. Every time I've gone in, other clients appear happy and the receptionists are friendly and chatty. I have no idea why some clients are unhappy, perhaps there is another side to these reviews.

Our family dog, Sadie, had been a patient of Dr. FitzSimons for years. She recently passed away in March and I can tell you that Dr. FitzSimons and his staff were the reason that she did live a very good life for so long. His team was always there for her care, always so professional and caring. When the time came to put Sadie to sleep, his staff made everything so much easier. Dr. FitzSimon's focus was on Sadie's quality of life, but also he knew how painful it was for us to lose a family member. After Sadie had been gone, my parents also received a sympathy card along with a donation in Sadie's name. In addition, when down in Florida, Sadie came down with vestibular disease, Dr. FitzSimons had Sadie to a vet he trusted in Panama City within minutes. He and his staff faxed all needed records and spoke with the vet in FL to make sure Sadie had the best care. I really can't say enough about this group. Always friendly, always professional, always sensitive, and so knowledgeable. I typically do not recommend places - but hands down would send anyone to this clinic.

Will not recommend. An assembly line of dog visits thoughout the office. In and out, matter of fact attitude! Especially for a sick pet. Dr's not sensative to needs. And real expensive! Nothing special here!

I Love Cumming Veterinary Clinic!! They have the friendliest staff and most knowledgeable Doctors. The Clinic is spotless and smells great!! I love the aroma of the candles as I enter the building. It does not smell like and animal hospital, you would think you were at home. They also have the cutest office Kitty. His name is "Oliver". "Oliver" has an awesome story. "Oliver" was brought into the clinic as a tiny kitten with a huge hernia. He was found near a dumpster and was brought in for euthanasia. Dr. FitzSimons was not sure if he would be able to perform the surgery to correct the hernia. Dr. FitzSimons did the surgery and it was a success!! Dr. FitzSimons and the Staff nursed "Oliver" back to health and he is now the Office Kitty. I love seeing him roam around the office when I visit CVC. I trust the staff and Dr.'s with my pets and would refer all my friends, family and neighbors to this great establishment!!

The past two dogs we have had have been cared for by Cumming Vet and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly place with great docs. You could not find a better staff-every one of them treats your pet as kindly as they would their own

I have been coming here for years now, and am pleased with how my animals are cared for by each of the doctors! I trust them to speak to me candidly when a problem arises, and am confident that they have the knowledge to manage these problems. Also, they are not pushy when it comes to talking about different products on the market, from arthritis medication to shampoo; I don't feel like they are trying to sell to me, but rather make suggestions for me to consider about my pet. I would recommend even scheduling a consult appointment with one of the doctors if you have questions or concerns.

Both vets are extremely good and they keep the place spotless. Unfortunately you will pay out of the nose for this service, and the cost is not reflected in the standard of care. While they are excellent vets, their service is what should be expected of a vet, and is not a grade above to justify the cost. True, you can't put a price on your furry babies' care, but for the cost the care should be a notch above, and it isn't I'm sad to say.
