This location used to be great. But great staff quit and current owner is cutting hour/workout times making it hard for those of us who work to workout. It's already expensive so new hours will give less for same amount of $. Regretfully I will be joining another gym.

This Curves location has a lot of pep, and the staff is always eager to help a newbie (or someone who needs amping) get into the groove. You can get a SUPER workout if you do the routine - 300 plus calories per 1/2 hour, not including the stretch time! I love it because you can get in, get out, and you are done...

I went to Curves of Sandy Springs for about a year to get in shape for my wedding. The staff was absolutely wonderful, but the circuit training gets old. Also, for some reason, Curves only seems to play the same 3 cd's of cheesy songs that are not even sung by the original musicians. Kind of annoying. If you like a routine, low-impact workout this is for you!

I love this concept of being on machines for 30 seconds, maintaining optimal heart rate and moving with lively music. It works and what I like about it is I don't get bored. I'm not looking at the clock to see how many minutes more I have to do, instead time flies and next thing I know, it's time for stretches and feeling good about yourself and rest of day.
