Searching for a wedding photographer in Atlanta is hard!! After numerous meetings with other photographers, we received d&f's info from a friend of the family. Thye used them before and spoke very highly of them. We met Ted and and loved him and his work! The wedding came and d&f was awesome! Ted and his assistant were great!! I will always reccomend them. We intreviewed photographers for over 3 months when we found Ted. He was great to meet and made us feel very comfortable. When our wedding day came, Ted and James were wonderful. They did not miss a photo! They worked as a team and captured everything! I have and will continue to reccomend him!

Faithmarket - Seeing your post made me had to share mine. My wedding was last year, and I hesitated to share my horrible experience because I hate bashing others, but seeing that it happened to you too is horrible. I had the exact same experience. Ted told me that he or Mandy would be there, but they sent an idiot instead that I had never talked to or heard of. He didn't know what he was doing and none of my pictures are edited, not that that would have helped. A year later, I ended up re-doing the photos of my husband and me because I was so sick of hating my wedding pictures. I didn't even get a picture of my reception venue! Whatever you do, do not use this photographer. I don't know what kind of business they are running, but they are dishonest and unprofessional.

Everyone knows there are two sides to every story. This customer booked our Basic Package which clearly states on our price lists and our website that this package may utilize an associate photographer. We have a team of 5 photographers who regularly shoot with us and for us, all of whom we are proud to represent our company. We have photographed over 600 weddings since 1993 and unfortunately some are more difficult to please than others.
These folks ruined our wedding photographs. We were told that one certain person would do our wedding photographs and then they switched photographers. The person who they sent was wretched. We would caution you against using this company. Honestly.

Words can't describe how pleased we are with Mandi and Rachael- they did a fabulous job and didn't miss a thing.

Cindy and Beau were great to work with!
We booked D and F photography to photograph our wedding. On the day of the wedding the photographer we booked did not show up and sent someone else in his place. The location they selected for the shots was directly in the sun and everyone is squinting in the pictures (there were plenty of other locations to choose from). They only took one pose picture of me and my husband, needless to say it turned out horribly. The photos taken inside the reception were dark and uncreative. In a lackluster attempt at creativity the photographer took pictures of mine and my husband's place cards. Except, he apparently did not know my husband name and instead took a picture of his brothers card. Part of the package we paid for included a bridal portrait or engagement photo. We did not have either of these things done so my family and I decided to have a family portrait taken instead. A few months after our wedding my family arranged to meet Ted at a lake near his home. The family portrait was beautiful and we were so excited. Two weeks later we received a call from Ted, he had lost our family portrait! My brother and his wife had flown down from Baltimore and my husband and I had come in from NC so we could not arrange a retake. All in all D and F photography was unprofessional and if you value your pictures do not trust them!

This bride booked our Basic Package which clearly states on our website and price lists that it may utilize an associate photgrapher. It is amazing how many people do not read what they are purchasing. The bride requested photos outside in the midde of the afternoon in May. We do our best to work with our location and what the bride wants. The photos look fine. As with any business or contract, please read your contract.
Our Company used d&f photography for some corporate headshots, and we we very pleased with the results. They were very courteous, and professional. We recieved the final product and we are very pleased. We would highly reccomend d&f photography. LW

We used Ted for our daughters wedding and we were amazed by the pictures! He did not miss a shot and was a pleasure to work with. He had 2 photography assistants working with him, and they got all the fun shots at the reception. We plan to use him to photograph our younger daughters upcoming wedding.

The photographer showed up at the last minute for our wedding and then had to go buy batteries. We have no setup shots. He was dropping his camera and appeared very unprofessional. Ted showed up at the wrong time for our reception and then left before we even cut the cake. We'd made arrangements to do this early once he told us he had to leave at 8pm, but when we looked around he was gone. Horrible! Extremely unprofessional.
