Katiea's experience was about like ours. This is one of those places that "ain't much on decor," but the staff was friendly and the food good. One of our children was right on the borderline for the adult buffet price, but is small and certainly doesn't eat "adult" quantities. At checkout, we confessed her true age, but with a quick consult with her co-worker, she gave us the kid price. It was a nice gesture given it was our first visit and we were new in town. We did try to go back for Sunday dinner after church, but they are closed on Sundays, so be warned.

This is a small but friendly little resturant, the food was hot, home cooking taste. The waitress came right over to our table took out drink order and we went through the food buffet. The chicken was fried and not greasy, the vegetables were seasoned just right. The only downside to Daddy's is the space could be larger. The tables are so close together that you can hear everyone's conversations. The bathrooms are very small but they were clean. I would recommend this to someone who likes southern style cooking.
