I am a homeschooling mom who wanted to help socialize my daughter by putting her in a dance class. So far, this has been a great experience for us. The teachers are all very patient, even though my daughter wasn't used to the classroom setting. They teach the moves, but don't force them. And above all, they nuture the girls' imaginations and get them moving! Also, they currently charge a flat tuition fee (no extra registration, and recitals are optional) which is rare for a dance studio!

As parents of a 3-and-a-half-year-old, we couldn't be happier with Dance Imagination. Our daughter loves her classes and looks forward to seeing Ms. Lisa each week. Both of her dance recitals were unforgettable and the happiness in her eyes says it all. Dance Imagination works very hard to make each student feel special. We love the photos that came from both professional photo sessions we've done. We will continue to recommend Dance Imagination to others.

My daughter is 5 yrs. old and has been at this studio since she was 18 mths.old. She has taken ballet, tap, hip hop and cheerleading. She LOVES all of her teachers, including the assistants at camp. The teachers have a passion for this age group, and it shows. As an educator, including literature in the dance classes for the younger ones is an added bonus!(The children gather around the teacher to listen to the story.) The students are always acknowledged with a hug and a friendly hello when they walk in the studio. The teachers really care about the children.

This will be the third year at Dance Imagination for my twin daughters. They fell in love with it the first moment they walked in the door. All of the instructors are kind, creative and make each child feel confident. My girls have done four dance recitals there and we have never had a problem. Mrs. Lisa has always been available to answer any questions either in person, phone or email. She has alwasy responded promptly and thoroughly. I have seen considerable improvements in my daughters dancing skills along with knowing the names of moves. All of this knowledge was taught to them in a fun, creative and nuturing environment. We'll be there as long as my girls want to dance!
My daughter has danced here for 3 years now and LOVES it more than I do! The instructors work hard to balance fun and learning into each session. They dress up, read stories, act out the story through creative movement, shake their little booties and leave feeling like the best princess dancer there ever was!!! I would absoluetly recommend this dance studio to anyone. We love Ms. Lisa! As for the person with the negative comment--listen and read!!!!! All the information is provided if you pay attention!!!!
My 3 year old has been taking Fairytale Ballet with Ms. Lisa for over a year and just adores her. We have had no problems with the costumes or photos. The photos are not done by the Dance Studio, they are done independently by someone else. Our photos were optional and I was very pleased how they turned out. Ms. Lisa always lets our class know dates and options as needed. My daughter looks forward to dance class each week and we have noticed an improvement in what she has learned for the 2 dance recitals she has performed in for Dance Imagination. We will definitely keep her going until she graduates to the next level.
The teacher is very nice. The classes are cheap. However, like the reviewer before this, I agree that there is almost a total lack of communication. My daughter was put in a costume that was way too small for her in the recital. It left horrible red marks on her shoulders. I had no idea when or where to show up for pictures, had to pay ahead of time, and the pictures turned out awful. I was so ready to change to a different dance company after the recital.
My daughter has been dancing at Dance Imagination for 3 years. She LOVES it!! It is the best part of our week. She has made wonderful friends and learned so much. All of our recitals have been so memorable and special. Our portraits have always been very good and Mrs. Lisa is amazing. She always takes the time to make every little girl in the class feel special.
I feel bad even typing disorganized, but it is - the "Fairy Tale Ballet" is one of the sweetest classes I have ever seen and my daughter has really grown socially from attending it the last three seasons. They have great instructors who are wonderful with kids and make them feel important, valued and able to perform - like princesses. The classes are organized, on time & instructed well with perfect little props. My child has looked priceless almost every single time. Not sure who they get to handmake some of their costumes but they are simply adorable. As for the back end of the business - well, that's where disorganized comes in. Getting these ladies to call you back is like pulling teeth. They wait weeks to cash your checks and there is no solid form of communication, other than flyers in the studio, to let you know of the recitals, pay timelines, camps & enrollment. I do go on Saturdays instead of a weekday since I work, so that's maybe why it seems that way - but it's totally worth it - those memories and scrapbooks will be full from this place!
