I called Dr. Dillard's office because of good reviews that I saw on Kudzu.com for Dr. Darden. When I called the number, I was surprised to hear that the office now belongs to Dr. Michael Dillard, DMD. The receptionist, Amber, was very friendly and answered all my questions, so I decided to give them a try. Now I am pleased to be able to give a review for Dr. Dillard. The office was clean and efficient. Everyone was nice and very friendly. I had not been to the dentist for 7 years, so Sarah did all the X-rays (my mouth is very small, and she took great care to make me as comfortable as possible) and then Kelly and Sarah did a full exam. I was afraid that I had a cavity, but Dr. Dillard put my mind at ease and told me it was just an old filling that had cracked. He actually took the time to read over my medical history (most of the time I think nobody ever looks at those things!) and asked me questions about some of it. He made me feel like he genuinely cares about me, my teeth, my health, and my well being—that I was not just a $. Then they told me that they had a cancellation and could do a cleaning if I wanted. Since it was long overdue, I agreed. Kelly did a great job with the cleaning. She was gentle, but thorough, and my teeth looked and felt really shiny and clean when she was done. Great job, everyone!

I am extremely happy with Dr. Darden and his whole staff. It is definitely a growing dental practice in Snellville. Please disregard comments made by other reviewers that "this dentist is in a strip mall." Whether a dentist rents space in a shopping area or not is immaterial to the quality of service, level of the dentist's education or skill. It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with whether it's a good dentist or not. I worked as an office manager for an oral surgeon. I know when a dental office is run right and safety procedures are followed. Everything is right in this office. I take my entire family here, and you should take your family here.

Horrible customer service. The lady at the desk canceled my appointment and they did not let me know until 4 minutes before my appointment time! I took off work and drove a long way to see a dentist. The whole time I was standing at the desk she just kept complaining about how bad her day was going, while I was the one out of the appointment time! Very unprofessional receptionists. It is located in a strip mall and is not a very quality dentist.
