I contacted them and arranged for them to serve papers for my small claims court case. Three weeks ago I sent them the documents. I have contacted them five times, by phone and email, since then. They did not respond to any of my emails or calls regarding the status of the service of my documents. It was not until I contacted them yesterday letting them know I was ready to file a complaint regarding their service that they responded to me. There response was simply they were not able to serve the papers and had not received any of my previous five emails or phone messages. Now the time frame for substitute service has passed and I must refile my claim with the court. I will have to refile my claim and I intend to hire another process server. I am not at all satisfied with the service I have received from David Torres and Associates, Inc. I do understand that there are cases where it is not possible to serve an individual. However, there is no excuse for their poor customer service.
