Sacramento County Sheriff's detectives are seeking the public's help in finding a husband and wife wanted on multiple charges including theft, forgery and filing false real estate documents, authorities said. Henry Aguilar and Magda Gonzales are suspected of stealing more than $121,000 form real estate schemes, Sacramento County Sheriff's Sgt. R.L. Davis said in a press release. Aguilar acted as a mortgage broker for the companies D'Core Inc. and Access at 701 Howe Ave. He allegedly forged names and information on loan promissory notes, deeds of trust and grant deeds, Davis said. Gonzales then allegedly notarized the forged documents. With the forged documents, Aguilar allegedly purchased and sold property without the victims' knowledge, Davis said. He also allegedly obtained lines of credit in the victims' names. Warrants for their arrests have been issued on charges of identity theft, obtaining money under false pretenses, grand theft, forgery, filing false real property title documents and conspiracy, Davis said. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Aguilar or Gonzales is asked to call the Sacramento Sheriff's Department at (916) 874-5115 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP.
