I ordered flowers on a Saturday for same-day delivery. The receipt I got confirmed same-day. No flowers. Monday mid-day I got a call asking if I still wanted them delivered. The gentleman who called me said in essence, oh, that's (the lack of Saturday delivery) not our fault. We close at 12 on Saturday; that's the fault of (some company) that apparently handles the ordering part of their website. He said the information about Saturdays was on their webpage. First: just because you close your store at noon on Saturday doesn't necessarily mean you stop taking online orders and delivering them. Second: It's NOT hard to make it obvious on your webpage that same-day delivery isn't exactly true, and Third: regardless of why, I, the customer, didn't get what I was promised. An apology would've been nice - maybe an offer to throw in a baloon or a few extra flowers - something to ensure I was still happy with your business. I'm not. I didn't see the flowers, so I can't rate the arrangement.
