My experience with Del Val Gutter has been a nightmare. I originally contracted with them in the fall of 2008 to repair our gutters and the damaged soffits around them on our house. I paid them a down payment of $1200. The owner, or person in charge, Daniel Dehart, has no management skills and never did anything he said he was going to do. I always had to follow up with him and he always replied he would do something within the next day or two. Never happened once. I finally called the whole thing off in late December. The $1200 dollar deposit was never paid back. I continually called after him and he always said he would have the money in a week. Never paid back a dime. Dealing with this company has been an utter disaster. Daniel Dehart essentially stole over $1200 from me. Needless to say, this has been a miserable experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. The integrity and character of this company and it's ownership is non-existent. I would strongly recommend you do no business with Delaware Valley Gutter. If you do contract with them do not pay a dime until the work has been done to your satisfaction. Owning two old houses brings you in contact with a lot of contractors in all types of fields. Delaware Valley Gutter has been hands down the worse one we have ever dealt with.
