This grooming visit ended up being the biggest mistake of my life. I paid EXTRA to ensure he was given specific attention. I arrived to pick up my dog and instead of giving him to me, they made me pay first. Then ONLY after they got their money, they handed me my dog who was practically DEAD like a rag doll, told me to give him a cracker and he would be fine. They said that "something" scared him and he had a seizure. My dog has NEVER had a seizure. This must be their GO TO excuse for NEGLECT, because he was acting as if he had a HEAD INJURY. They blew it off as nothing, but I rushed him to the ER and there was nothing they could do for him. ESPECIALLY since we could not get a straight answer from the owner as to what happened. My dog was NEVER the same after this visit and eventually had to be put to sleep. I will NEVER forgive myself for taking him here.

Theses people hurt both of my dogs. My small dog has permanent spinal cord injury and she will be in pain for the rest of her life. My large dog came home barely able to walk and limping for two days. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR PETS. Don't be fooled by there on and off phoney treatment. They survive in business by treating g their favorite clients well and other client s very poorly, even if you are a a constant repeat customer. Once my dog came home smelling awful, I think they just wet her down and never washed her or they used some kind of recycled water. Don't gamble with your pets safety! Stay away from Deaigner Dog.

Started taking my dogs here a few years ago. Dawn was great...once she left everything went in the pot. The owner Holly, is rude, snide, and doesn't begin to understand customer service or the fact that my dogs are not sand bags they can just throw around...service seriously declined and prices just kept rising. When it opened,it was a calm environment but they e had no way to manage growth and keep consistent care and service. 3 years and I have thankfully found a sweet place across town in kennesaw.

I took my 1 year old Yorkie to get groomed and and explained how I wanted her to be groomed. However when I picked her up, she looked nothing like what I expected, plus the groomer told me he cut my baby with his scissors. When I got home and inspected her closer, I found that she had been cut twice. When I called to express my concerns about the groomer, the manager didn't seem concerned. I asked that the owner call me, but it's been a week and still no call. We won't be going back.

I took my golden for a summer haircut yesterday and Zena did an awesome job. Maggie says ,"Thank you very much!" Her coat is evenly trimmed to the length I requested. Also took in my schnauzer-poodle- mix for a bath and trim. Again, great job. Thank you for a job well done!

I have been taking my dog to Designer Dog for several years and have become increasingly disappointed with every visit. $50 for a small dog to receive a summer cut is highway robbery. It used to be that you drop your dog off, they groom the dog and call you when the dog is done. This last time that my dog was groomed they scheduled 3 dogs at once and it took them 5.5 hours to finish mine. I don't like my dog left in a cage for most of the day. Also, I asked for a specific groomer when I made the appointment, but was told that groomer was off that day when we got there. I have found 2 other groomers in the area that charge $35 for the same groom and have raving reviews on-line. Also, that last time that I brought our other dog to get her nails clipped, they charged $8, the new groomer charges $5. Additionally, the woman that took the dog back, tightened the loop collar so tight just below the skull that I was concerned she may injure the dog. Bye-bye Designer Dog.

We have three finnikcy dogs and for the first time ever I have a found a place that they did not freak out about nor did they try to dart out of there like a bat out of hell. Designer Dog is fairly priced but most of all, you can tell that the people who work there actually care about your dog. They were gentle with them which is especially important to me since I have an 18 year old yorkie with a heart condition. You can see where they groom the pets and the place is cozy and intimate. I'm thrilled that I found this little spot and can't wait to take the crew back again. Thank you Designer Dog!!
