I used Designer Transport to move some items from my storage unit to my new apartment. I was referred to them by a friend and was told that the movers were very courteous and careful, but my experience ended on a sour note. I scheduled the job with Vinney who is head of scheduling, I was given an estimate for the move (which we estimated at 3 hours) and at the end of the job I was charged twice as much as estimated even though the job took only 2 1/2 hours. Vinney spoke to me in a threatening manner when I questioned the bill, he told me that I had agreed on the phone to hourly charges and surcharges that I was never informed of when I scheduled the move. This company is running a scam and needs to be investigated.

Bad scheduling, very rude, they were 2 hours late for the job, so they made an excuse that I did not communicate "correctly" and they left my job with my belongings in their truck, without my permission, (left all rest of my stuff in the hallways and parking of the building, in common areas), and I am 5 month pregnant cant lift anything...So they left to catch up to the next client. So they got my money and they didn't want to miss out on the other client, very selfish. I was stranded for the whole day had to stay at hotel at night on my own expense, had to take another unpaid day off work the next day, hire another company to go get my belongings from their warehouse and pay for everything. Total nightmare. They damaged my furniture and took my box cart, I didn't even want to deal with them anymore, it wasn't worth it!

I used DTS to move and store some of my things and was very impressed with how clean and orderly their offices, trucks and warehouses were kept. I was also impressed by how professional ALL of the employees looked and acted. They treated me like one of the family. I was shown around the warehouse, explained where my things would be placed and saw first hand how secure the facility is, I had no worries at all about any of the items I stored there. I even saw the workers loading a couple of trucks for a delivery and was amazed at how well wrapped and secured the items were. Vinny and Rhonda (the owners) explained what the estimated costs (VERY reasonable) would be and my price came out even below that. I will certainly use them again for any moves that I need done. Thanks guys.

I had used DTS for a house to house move. The crew that came to do the move was courteous and professional. When they arrived they got right to work, everything that needed it was blanket wrapped before it went out the door. The guys were extra careful on an antique hutch that they moved making sure it didn't get damaged. I would certainly recommend DTS to anyone who was making a move. I also understand that they have a huge warehouse if you need to store anything - Great job guys

DTS movers, used them last month for a move from our apartment to a new house, they really did an exceptional job. The crew that did the move was courteous and friendly; they were even early getting here. Everything was blanket wrapped before they left the apartment and everything arrived safe at our new place. They even came in under their original estimate which was another plus in their favor. If you are looking to move definitely give Vinny a call.

I used these guys to move me into my new home and they were AMAZING! They wrapped everything in pads and handled it like it was their own. I thought movers would take their time but these boys busted their butts to get the job done as quick as possible! I would recommend DTS to anybody because they are PERFECT for the job!! And if you want garaunteed satisfaction ask for a Chris or Mike to move you :) THANK YOU DTS!!!
