A great experience for my family

It was a great experience for my whole family. We were broken and didn't get along. The program was for all of us. TJ worked on his stuff, we worked on ours. He played football and we ALL (our whole family and neighborhood) watched him play live! together! It brought him back to us and bound us all together and gave us memories we will never forget. Thank you all sooooo much!

I wish it was cheaper or that they have some way to help pay for it. Not every one can affort a private school.

    Attended after wilderness program
    brettadams396 (1 review)

After a long stint in a wilderness program that was recommended by our education consultant, our son came home and quickly reverted back to his old habits. A last ditch effort before he turned 18 was to try Diamond Ranch. The difference was AMAZING! he learned much of the same things in DRA's O&A (first 2 weeks) as in wilderness, but then moved on to practice real life in the token economy they use. We could have saved a lot of money going directly to Diamond Ranch had we known about it. The cost was about the same for 10 months as it was for 3 months in the wilderness program - and the first couple of weeks WAS in effect, the wilderness of the other program! I recommend this program highly.

The academy was helpful in our needs and I am most willing in giving a review of my thoughts. In my country there is becoming much drugs use openly. I had to move my son away from its influence. The academy was most helpful and respectful of my wishes. The academy encouraged my wishes at all times within my son in his enrollment. I wish them more success.

    It was a good experience

It was a good experience I thought. It is a great distance and I wish it were easier to travel. The people are good and want to help sincerely. The program was good and we followed along learning the same stuff. The campus is nice and has animals roaming. The parent workshops are helpful but we couldn't get to all. I wonder if they could televise them like their football games to save us money from traveling.

Proud parents of a champion wrestler!

We sent our son to diamond ranch academy when he got into drugs (at church if you can imagine). We were so scared of what he had become. We didn't know where he was most of the time. When we found diamond ranch we expected to only get help overcoming his drug abuse, but what we got was a stronger, more capable young man more confident than ever. He was introduced to wrestling at DRA which was a great thing to focus his energy. When he came home he tried out for the team at Loveland HS and took state in his weight that season! Cody, the coach at DRA really showed him what it meant to be a champion on and off the mat. I can't say enough about how much they influence their students for good out there.

after four years away from Diamond ranch
    johnnysimmons72 (1 review)

I graduated DRA four years ago. Today I see them on TV helping a kid from the streets on Lifechangers. i was shocked! that was ME not long ago! It is a lot different there than when I went, but I can only see it getting better. I understand that the program is the same but geared towards less hard kids. I have to say that I wouldn't be prepping for grad school without the skills they taught me. I learned HOW to learn and that has made all of the difference! go diamondbacks!!! make us proud!!

I was impressed as heck with the leadership I met when I arrived with my family at the ranch. Bo, the principal, answered everything and introduced us to the incredible academic program. An important highlight was getting to speak to four impressive and achieving young gentlemen going to school there.

Just a month after returning home our my son is doing well; he's returned to his old school, seems to be making better choices in terms of his friends, staying clean and sober. The best part of all is that the old him is back and ther is a much lighter and more serene feelling in our house.

Diamond Ranch Academy was unexpectedly needed at a hard time in our family. The program was holistic, in that it helped our son emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually and it helped the rest of us adress our own problems at home. That we didn't want to face. DRA is a wonder!
