My son (he's 11) has been going to Dr. Dobbins for about 5 years now. He's knowledgeable, compassionate, and he can communicate medical information at the level of the parent's comprehension (I have significant knowledge of medical terminology, etc., and hate it when an MD feels that they have to "baby talk" me about my kid's illness). Stewart doesn't do that -- he will explain what your child needs, and what you need to do. He's also schedule-friendly -- I have never had a time when I called with a sick child and had to wait a day to be seen. You can't just walk in (actually, I have before, but that's not polite), but if you call and explain the situation to them, the staff can fit you in. The only picky point about this office is that they don't take credit cards. A minor annoyance, but it may be important to some.
