What a relief to find Xalina and Sandy for our 1 year old rescued beagle mix! These ladies are top of their game and are wonderful dog and people trainers. They always take the time to talk with us about how things are going with training and how to handle different situations to bring out the best in our sweet boy. We have completed basic obedience with wonderful results - the change in our dog and our ability to communicate with him is greatly improved. We plan to move on to the other courses they offer soon! Our dog has also been to doggie day care - what a blessing to have such great supervision and socialization/play time under the care of these two ladies and their staff. Overall: excellent skilled trainers, great facility, clean, convenient location and hours, excellent value for your money, fantastic people to work with. We love dog school 101!

My dog Chloe, she's a Chihuahua was competely out of control before we started Dog School 101. From day one of Beginner Obiedence we could already see a huge difference! Sandy and Xalina are like the dog whispers!! They have already worked wonders with Chloe and myself. I feel that I actually have control of her and she listens to me now. We are on our third session of Beginner Obedience and we have three more sessions to go. After we graduate from Beginner Obedience we plan on doing Nose Works to help boost her confidence! I highly recommend Dog School 101! Sandy and Xalina are amazing trainers and very patient with me and the dog!! Thanks Sandy and Xalina for everything ya'll have done for Chloe and me!!

My two year old Australian Shepherd loves going to Dog School 101 for day care! I love that she is not only with people who love dogs, but she is with trainers who know each dog's personality and they pair good playmates together. She is safe and has a fantastic time. We could not praise them more!! Give them a try!

"We have two rescue dogs that are Border Collie/ Aussie Shepherd mixes. The boys are 7 and 8 respectively and have always had pretty good obedience. They have also had slight issues with resource guarding and are very jealous of any dog or person that comes near my husband or I. Recently these behaviors have escalated resulting in one of our dogs actually biting a guest in our home. We strongly considered rehoming this dog because we also have a 6 month old baby at home and were concerned the guarding behavior had turned to aggression. After a phone consultation with Xalina and just 2 training sessions, we realized that our dogs could easily be refocused and remain a loving and joyful part of our family! Thanks to Xalina, we've discovered techniques and tools to minimize the undesirable behaviors and refocus their attention. While we are continuing to work with them, Xalina is "myth busting" the idea that you can't teach an old dog new tricks!! Our mature dogs have never been better behaved and as dog parents we too have changed how we manage their behavior. Thank you Xalina for helping us keep our family together!!"

This is a review I will love to write. We got Buddy, yellow lab Sept. 2nd, 2010 and he started dog school the 2nd week we had him. We knew nothing about them but was referred by our vet. I made an appt. the second week for Buddy but it was sooner than that when they met him. See I threw my right shoulder blade out and my husband was going to travel and I could not move. I called them 7:30 one morning and they told me to come see them that day. I will not regret it or neither will Buddy. He was taken home by Zandy who just loved him. He was only 10 wks and not even housetrained yet. But since that day we just love everyone there. The two trainers have a different style in ways but they all love the dogs. I am a phobic and had days I would come in and sob thinking because I was older I could not handle Buddy. He was a bundle at 10 weeks. They encouraged and help train me to Buddy. He has two diploma's and working on #3. He has so many dog friends that as soon as they see him they all run to the gates. The monitors help show you the fun they have during day care. It would be hard and I could not take him anywhere else with all the love he gets there if it is only once a week and 5 days a week, or classes. Thank you all at Dog School 101 for helping me with BUDDY THE DESTROYER as we call him. Sue Wogelius, Acworth

Dog School 101 is an amazing place to take your dog to not only learn to obey commands, but it will also help your pet to abandon bad habits. The staff at dog school 101 was so helpful in training our dog, but also helped to train the humans so that we would have a happy, well trained dog. They love and care for the dogs here so much and truly love their jobs. They were able to teach us how to manage our very energetic 4.5 yr old lab mix. We could not believe the difference in our dog after the sessions she had at Dog School 101. I am so thankful for Dog School 101-this place is absolutely amazing!

We have been going to Dog School 101 since 2008 when we got our Lucy. Sandy and Xalina are awesome trainers. Lucy being a lab/pit bull mix, we wanted to make sure she got the best training to inhibit any aggressive behavior her pit bull nature may have. Now at 2 years old, she is the best behaved dog that I've ever had. She loves all dogs and people and has not shown any pit bull personality at all. This is all because of the excellent training she got from Xalina and Sandy. I would recommend this place and trainers without hesitation to anybody who is looking for a professional, excellent, kind, and fun dog school for their loved pups.

Along with their impeccable training, Xalina and Sandy's new large facility makes it the best place to take your dog from everything from basic obedience to dog agility. My last dog graduated from Dog School 101 seven years ago. I was very impressed with their kindness, knowledge on many aspects of pet care—going well beyond obedience to nutrition, dog safety, etc., Most of all, these ladies ADORE dogs and it shows in every aspect of their business. My newest dog just completed her basic obedience course and we can't wait to get started on the next level of obedience along with the "Nose Work" class! Great trainers, great place, great fun!

Sandy & Xalina are EXCEPTIONAL at what they do! I am so grateful to have found them. They truely rehabilitated my French bulldog. She was Cujo in a cute French bulldog costume! These trainers worked us into a group class and still continued to design individual trainer for my Frenchie. I cannot say enough to "Thank" Dog School 101 for all the incredible knowledge and training that they have given me and my Frenchie!

Xalina and Sandy are amazing to work with. Rambo (my doggie) and I have truly enjoyed our experience in our group classes! I have learned so much and I'm so happy I now have this knowledge of the proper way to train a dog. They have helped me to realize just how smart Rambo is and he actually is trainable!:) I highly recommend Dog School 101!

The whole Dog School operation is amazing. Our dog Bailey began her traing at the age of eight weeks and she has continued to go every week since ( she is almost two years old). Their training is amazing; the dogs are truly loved and cared for. There is no better place to entrust your dog's care.

Buster, our English Cocker, will be 2 soon and we started him at Dog School 101 when he was 12 wks. old. From basic training to agility class, and weekly play dates, he loves it there! We have been very pleased with Sandy, Xalina and Zandy. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and so caring of every dog. They listen to the owners and help with all concerns. Buster LOVES being there and we have a happy pup! We just wish we had found them years ago for our other pets.

My husband and I have known Xalina and Sandy for over 15 years and have had two dogs trained by them. Recently we have a new dog, Bella, (golden doodle) who has taken obedience training and Nose Works. Obedience training was really great for her since she tends to be all about "play." Nose Works was a great class which is not only envigorating for your dog but also entertaining for you. It's a brain teaser for your dog and they learn at the same time. Xalina's training methods are so very positive that you and your dog walk away from the experience with an exhilerated sense of accomplishment! Xalina is truly the dog whisperer!
