I love this place. In 2001 when we had the January ice storm my 14 year old chinese crested was very ill. At the time I was using another vet clinic. They closed their doors 2 days before the actually storm and would not see my Becky. On the day of the storm I was so desperate for her to see a doctor I just started calling vet offices and Dogwood was the only one that answered. They were their to cancel the days appointments but told me they would wait and bring her in. They didn't know me but they had enough compassion to see us. I did go back to my regular vet at the time but was treated very poorly and switched to Dogwood. The best choice I could have made for my 4 legged children. The Front End staff is very helpful and friendly and remembered us from the beginning. The vet techs are very knowlegable and gentle and caring. And we love Dr. Johnson. Besides being a wonderful vet you can tell she genuinely cares about the people and pets that come in to see her. That speaks volumes to me. So Thank You Dogwood!! I will always recommend you.

My wife and I want to thank the doctors at Dogwood for the wonderful care and concern they had for our dog Dale. From the day we adopted her until her untimely death they have provided excellent care and support. We especially thank you for helping us through the end of her illness. We appreciate everything you and your kind staff do. While we miss our beloved Dale, we were proud to have her as member of our family. Thank you again for your help and kindness!

Through all the wellness visits and emergency visits, the staff and doctors at Dogwood Veterinary Hospital have been very understanding, professional and always available to see me in my emergencies. When my doxie was diagnosed first with congestive heart failure and later renal failure, the staff and doctors were so patient with my many questions. My youngest doxie has IVDD and had to have emergency surgery at Auburn. When she was improved enough, Dogwood agreed that I could bring her back to Dogwood for continued recuperation. She was then local and I could visit her each day. I believe it accelerated her recovery and I know it helped my anxiety. Then that dreaded day came when I was faced with giving my oldest the ultimate gift, that of letting her go and cross that Rainbow Bridge. I couldn't have asked for any better support, caring, sympathy and kindness than I recieved from the doctors and staff at Dogwood. They were the greatest!! If you are looking for a clinic for your companion animal that is professional and truly cares about your critter and you, then I would highly recommend Dogwood! Brenda C.

My cat got sick for the first time ever and we chose this vet based on their previous ratings. We were glad we did. They were extremely accomodating and knowledgable. They took her in immediately and we had test results within an hour. They kept her for two days because she needed an IV for hydration and antibiotics. They even let me come in on Sunday when they were closed to visit with her. This and their frequent updates on her condition made us much more comfortable with leaving her there. I would recommend this vet to anyone who loves their pet as much as we love ours. Spooky came home yesterday and is well on her way to a full recovery. Thank goodness.

I brought my pet into Dogwood after struggling for months with his skin. I was a little nervous about going to a different veterinary clinic - but I thank my lucky stars I did. The entire experience was great. I brought my pet in - was kindly greeted by the front office staff. When it was time to go into the doctor office - the technician really took the time to listen to my concerns. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Johnson was my doctor. The difference between this practice and others is the effort they make to educate. Dr. Johnson took the time to explain why my pet was having skin problems, what can contribute to those problems, and how I can help fix them. She was very informative. This clinic really cares about the pet. It has been 1 month and my dog is doing much better. I won't go anywhere else.

Knowing fully well that they are not professional groomers, I made an appointment to have my 2 dogs "shaved". I was quoted a price over the phone, I was told that each dog would be $45. I have always paid $40 to $45 at professional groomers so I had no problem with the price quote. When I went to pay for the services I was told that I owed $110. I explained that I was quoted $90 and they told me one of my dogs went over the $45 weight limit by 2 pounds. (she weighed 27 and the limit for that price is 25) so they charged me an additional $20. I was infuriated by this. Also, the attendants asked me several times if I was happy with the way they looked. I said they were fine as I really couldn't tell. My dogs were so excited to see me after being there all day they wouldn't stop jumping around. On the way home my children noticed that the cut and shave they were given was actually horrible. When I arrived home I was able to see the horrible chop job. I've had them groomed and shaved several times over the years and I have never seen anything this bad. From now on I will stick to professional groomers, they are cheaper and do a far better job.

We recently took my beloved dog to Dogwood for help; I was afraid that we would lose him. Dr. Johnson and each and every staff member was compassionate, extremely competent and very caring for my dear boy and me. We are grateful and my boy is doing just fine and getting around better than ever. A neighbor had told me how how sensitive and caring the doctors and staff at Dogwood are. Our family is very thankful for the wonderful care we received at Dogwood.W e had to wait about 30 minutes but a technician explained that a pet had come that was hit by a car that needed immediate attention. It gave me comfort to know that the staff didn't forget about us and also that our pets would be treated with the same expediency and concern in an emergency situation.

I have been a client of Dogwood Vet Hospital since it began, actually since before it began.... I was a client of Dr Rick Berta and Dr Wayne Morris when they were our county's large animal veterinarians... Dr Pam Johnson-Crosby was a very welcome addition to the Dogwood "team when Dr Berta and Dr Morris made the switch to small animal practice. Dogwood Vet Hospital has impeccable staff, vet techs and doctors and it is the only AHHA certified hospital in the county...I have had to (unfortunately!!) use their emergency services more than once over the past several years and was met with prompt response, compassion and efficency, from both the doctors and the vet techs. I would not hesitate to recommend Dogwood Vet Hospital or their Boarding Kennel to all animal lovers, especially if you want your "furkids" treated with love, respect and a couple of good "scratches"....just like they are in your own home!!

I just moved to Newnan from Florida a few months ago. I was worried I would never find a veterinary hospital as good as the one I had to leave when I moved. I was right. I found one even better!! Warm, friendly, knowlegeable, caring staff and doctors. They gave perfect care to my pet.

I have been a client for about a year and have had nothing but a great experience. Staff is caring and friendly and I have even had a phone call after hours from one of the doctors to let me know about my pets blood work. They seem very knowledgable and helpful. They seem to have lots of passion for what they do. They even have an open house in the spring where they offer 1/2 price vaccines as a way to give back to the community. As far as I know they are the only Vet in town that offers a 24 hour emergency service to their clients. I would reccomend them to any one.

Dogwood Veterinary Hospital is a nice facility and Dr. Berta is a WONDERFUL veterinarian, but the management leaves something to be desired.

I have been taking my pets to dogwood for 2 years. I have always received great service from this clinic, whether it be during a scheduled appointment, or for an emergency. I can tell that they really care about my pets. And the fact that they are the only AHAA accredited clinic in coweta county really says a lot for the,. Good job Dogwood! Keep up the good work!
