This daycare is VERY unprofessional. They sent two of my children home with diapers so full of pee that they were sagging to their knees and my babies had bleeding blisters. They would move my children form one building to another in the middle of winter with no jacket and they yell at the children, not to mention the director is the most rude lady I have EVER met. This place should be shut down!

My daughter has been going to Doodlebuggs since October 2011. After only 3 weeks of attending the Daycare, she was completely potty trained. She has learned so much! She is 3 and she can tie her shoes, she can write her name perfectly, she knows all the ABCs, lower and upper case, she knows her full address, she knows the body parts and the colors in spanish ... I LOVE this place and Jojo loves going there too. The teachers are ALL wonderful.

Wonderful daycare!Great teachers, my son loves going to his class, and especially loves his teachers. It's great sending them someplace where they are well taken care of, given nutritious snacks, and lots of patience and kindness.

When I had my first child I was extremely nervous about enrolling my daughter in daycare. I wanted a place where my child would be well taken care of but also have interaction and learn. I visited several places and Doodlebuggs was the last one. After talking to the owner, I just felt this was the best place for my daughter. She has been there almost 3 years and has learned so much. At 3 she knows how to write her name (among other words) and is learning to speak Spanish. Doodlebuggs is a great place for any child.

My daughter Izzy has been going to this Daycare since she was right at 2.(she is now 4) They had her Potty Trained with in the first week in a half of being there. I love the whole staff they are absolutely wonderful with Izzy and Izzy loves going her. My daughter has learned to tie her own shoe and speaks spanish very well THANKS to ALL the teachers. Lena is a very understanding person with alot of things I love coming to her and talking she helps me thru it. Ms. Precious and KiKi are wonderful and very easy to get along with and I get all the information I need from them and they are very good about relaying a message to Mrs. Lena. Ms Diana and her mom are wonderful as well...Ms. Diana has taught Izzy so much when she was in her class. We are very THANKFUL for this daycare and the STAFF here.I would recommend this place to ALL of my friends.

When we first gained custody of our little one he was 2 1/2 and had been severly neglected. We were very impressed with the facilities and greatful we found a place in our price range. Over the past year he has grown into a wonderful and happy child. Part of that is due to the wonderful care that Ms. Lena and staff (Especially Ms Diana and Ms Kiki) gives him. Have we ever had a problem? Sure... when it comes to your little one you worry. However, the staff has always addressed the problems quickly and to my satisfaction. I am completely satisfied and looking forward to a another good year.

Doddlebuggs seemed great at first and then started to go down. My child was not in Doodlebuggs very long but in the short time that he was there he HATED it and even cries today when I pull out a Doddlebuggs shirt. So now his uniform shirt is used for an oil rag. On the last day that my child was there he was sent home WITHOUT underwear on even though he had clean ones in his backpack and in his cubby. Ms. Tasha was really nice but always on the phone when I seen her. I would only recommend this place if you don't really care about the care of your child. Very true that you get what you pay for and with the lower price you get lower education and care for your child.

My child has been attending Doodle Bugs NEARLY 1 yr and I have never been so dissatisfied with the Customer Service mainly by the Owner Lena. She is very rude and empathetic towards EVERYTHING. She has no relationship with the children. lt just seems like fast cash for her in my opinion. Also she speaks to people/other parents like they are children and below her, and Tasha one of the employees talks on her cell phone all day when she is supposed to be watching the kids. l honestly wish that LENA were to be fined for not running her organization appropriately and l hope that all the parents who have children that attend Doodlebugs one day realize how much of a bad investement they made taking there precious babies there. The only good thing about Doodlebugs is the price. But l guess you get what you pay for. l will be filing a complaint through the STATE!

When my husband and I went to look for a good school we thought we had found it here, but we were wrong. I have worked in daycare for 5 years and my daughter who is almost three has been in daycare since she was little. She was polite, smart, great with other kids, and never talked back. She was in this daycare for two months and with in those two months she became very agressive, smart mouthed, disrespectful, and fell far back in potty training. Every time Id look on thier cameras theyd be sitting at the tables doing nothing. Every once in a while Id see the teacher get up and leave the room and not come back for a while. I had picked my daughter up from school earlier than usual one day around lunch time and so I agreed to take the lunch with me so she could finish in the car. It did not look good at all so I tried it and had to stop the car to throw up. Every time I would pick her up Id get very negative things told to me. And close to when I decided to pull her out I walked in on the late night lady screaming in my childs face. I had seen bugs on the floors. I saw ants in thier kitchen. This place should be shut down. I was extremely dissappointed with this place. I have more horror stories but I dont want to type any more of them.

There are two sides to every story and the owner, THE OWNER, of all people does not listen to the other side. She only has her point of view. My wife and I had a peaceful conversation with our sons teacher and the teacher reported that we yelled at her. If she is so sensitive she needs to hibernate. The owner called my wife and had the audacity to tell my wife that we needed to apologize to the teacher. Mind you, i am not missing a step. Lena, the owner, never asked one time what happened. But as you read lower you will see Lena says there are 2 sides to every story. She is a hypocrite. I called the teacher alright, i called her and told her that if we were yelling at her then she would know. I have every right to be upset if my child is not receiving the care that is deserved and paid for. This past week my son came home 3 of 5 days with other clothes on because he "had an accident". My son is 2, he is in pull ups and never has accidents at home during the day that constitutes soggy clothes. He came home from school last Monday with crap in his pants so bad that we had to throw it out, crap in his sweater, and on his shirt. There is a form that comes home daily that gives you information on how the day was, ie what your child ate, their mood and times their diaper was changed. Of course Mondays was not there. Tuesday comes and my wife goes in to pick him up and the teacher is changing his clothes because they are soaked again.

My 3 year old son has been in Doodlebuggs for a little over a month now. I love the facility. Very clean and lots of activities for the kids to do. He is in the transition process of going to daycare, he has usually been at home or with family members. I really like all his teachers. And the director Lena is great! He was having a litte trouble adjusting and getting used to sitting still and paying attention. Lena actually teaches them things, not just watches them and lets them play all day. There is a schedule and lots of structure which I like. They have uniforms which is good and go on field trips. They also have had a manners class. Lena took the time to have a detailed conversation with me to try and help my son adjust, and what she said helped. His behavior has gotten better!! Thanks Lena!! I would recommend this place to anyone. So I'm not sure where the bad reviews came from!!! Check out this daycare!

Owner told us that she was only allowed to watch my child "according to state guidelines" for 10 hours per day. There is NOTHING stating that in the Bright From the Start guidelines about length of a child in care. She makes up her own rules. She talks rude around the kids to coworkers. She's very unprofessional. They received a less than mediocre report on the states last visit. Check it out. Google "bright from the start ga" and then search for Doodlebuggs. Do this for every place you are considering. I would not recommend this place. The cost is low for a reason.
