Believe at all the negative reviews you see here (and all of them are negative). He is incompetent, stubborn, and slow. He took two weeks to say he was NOT going to reconsider his bad work. Be aware of who is going to be your appraiser and check his name on line before your bank hires him. And STAY AWAY from this guy thanks to whom I almost lost the house I want to buy.

This guy has no idea what he's doing. He appraised our home for $26K under asking price and made severe mistakes. He had us in the wrong school district and used the wrong comps. Also took 350 sq ft off of our home saying we didnt have a vent in a room when we actually did! When challenged he refused to change the appraisal. DO NOT USE THIS GUY HE'S A HACK. Oh, his website is annoying too.

Avoid this guy at all costs. Uses only the closest homes to compare, regardless of condition, then refuses to admit mistakes. Sloppy work, including entering wrong data in appraisal, and wrong pictures. Not a true professional to work with. He is assured to waste your time and money!!!!

Appraised my home atleast 30k less than what it is worth. If there is even a single foreclosure/short in your place, he will use that as a comp. The other comps were way off. So yeah if you really got a great rate etc, I'd strongly recommend proceeding with another lender if this is the appraiser going to appraise your place even if you rate is slightly higher elsewhere.

This guy appears to be clueless about what his job is. It's about appraising the true value of a house. He ignored all comps and only used 1 bank repo to price our home which consequently prevented us from getting a refi despite excellent credit. Don't hire this guy!

Our overall experience was extremely negative. First, he showed up an hour late. Then he was unapologetic about his lateness and even rude as he went through our house. Then he didn't seem interested in hearing about upgrades to the house. The worst part was the final product, the appraisal. He claimed that our 2 year old home had dropped 40% in value, and ignored all favorable recent sales comps in our neighborhood and instead only focused on a couple of foreclosures that sold on the courthouse steps. Since when are market prices set at the courthouse? Don't hire this guy if you are looking to finance your home as he'll value your home well below it's true market value. The appraisal we paid $450 for isn't worth the paper it was printed on.
