This Dr. only wants your money, does not care about your condition. He is very short, very arrogant and condescending. First visit was $500, then another $300 in supplements then a recommended $1000 in tests. After taking the 1st test I called to get the results and his receptionist gave me a vague answer. When I asked if Dr.Mithell could call me with more clarification on the results they tried to charge me $90!!!! Stay away from this Dr unless you don't mind shelling out a lot of cash for vague answers and careless service!

I have been seeing Dr Mitchell for late stage Lyme disease, co-infections Ehrlichia and Babesia, and reactivated chronic Epstein Barr Virus for a year now and I am doing much better. It took awhile to figure out why my progress was slower than most, and Dr Mitchell knew to look at genetic factors which turned out to be the problem. Dr Mitchell is very caring, very knowledgeable and works hard to figure out how best to help you even with limited resources. The fact that testing for Lyme and co-infections, and other symptoms is expensive is not something he can control. The supplements he sells at his office (which you are not required to buy there) are not marked up from what we see when comparing with Amazon or the manufacturer. The fact is, recovery from Lyme disease and the co-infections is a lengthy and expensive process if you don't have insurance that pays for it. That is true everywhere. People who think that Dr Mitchell is needlessly expensive, and recommending tests and treatment that have an excessive cost, must not have checked out other Lyme Literate practitioners yet.

Dr Mitchell's office was great on the phone and getting us into the appointment to test for Lyme or similar diseases, and it soon turned to a sales pitch of $500 in testing and $400 in supplements. His bed side manner was very inappropriately rushed especially when dealing with a heavy diagnosis. He had no time to answer questions and was annoyed by how overwhelmed we were (we were just given a list of 13 supplements to take and 5 different times a day). When I emailed questions I didn't get a response. Needless to say we aren't going back.

This doctor really listens to you! He is compassionate, caring, and VERY knowledgeable! I recommend him whole heartedly! I thought I had something I was just going to have to live with, and then I met Dr. Mitchell. Although not 100% yet, I am well on my way, and all in only 2 months! He is a miracle worker in my book. Thank you Dr. Mitchell! You have been my strength to recover. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
