Yes, I am all for urban renewal.... revitalizing the city etc. BUT the construction noise, port a potties, and swarms of work men killed this place for me. In the good old days, there was a large lawn area with big toys ( playhouse etc) for my children to enjoy while we sipped and ate. That sadly has dwindled down to the size of my laundry room! The food is still good....but the restaurant seems to have lost that certain something that made it stand out from the competition. I met friends for lunch there 2 weeks ago....after the 20 minute ordeal of finding parking... the cat calls from the construction site, and all the new graffiti, I was ready for a big mimosa! Unfortunately, our waiter was not!!!!! We waited for 15 minutes or so before we saw him. The patio was loud with the sounds of whirring saws etc. My food was as I remember.... but the rest was gone.

I really like the food here, but it takes a while to get it. One perk in the summer, if you have kids, is they often have entertainment on their lawn for them. I like the tofu stir fry. Their brie pizza (might be an appetizer?) was delicious.

This used to be a fun place to take the family. Good food and drinks for both adults with space for the kids to run around. The last 2 times we went the service was so poor we nearly walked out. The food is nothing special. I emailed my complaints and received no response.
