DWR was very kind to me when I went to purchase a horse. I rode several around the neighborhood and in the arena before I chose Ranger. He was well behaved around the facility. When he arrived at my farm, he had a severe case of ringworm that required almost $200 to clear up. We also needed to flush his eyes for infection. Both conditions are fine now. Ranger is afraid of poop pickers, shovels, rakes, anything you might carry that looks like a weapon to him. He is currently in training because he often pulls on the bit, refuses to turn, tends to run off when you approach him. Somewhere along the line in his past someone has hurt him and he has lost trust. We are gaining that back day by day. Jenn refused to let me trade him for another horse. She insulted me and told me it was all my fault. It was like dealing with a totally different person from when I first purchased Ranger. I got no help at all from her. She accused me of lying about him. Ranger will be a good horse - but he still needs work. Use caution when buying from DWR. Ride the horse all over the place not just around the neighborhood. Also, know that if you have a concern or complaint, you will be treated with disrespect.

This customer began her experience of ownership with Ranger by visiting our facility and riding him over a two day period. Furthermore, the horse did not have Ring worm or an eye infection. A professional 3rd party veterinarian conducted a full pre purchase exam at the customer's request while she was present prior to the horses departure. There was no mention made to us by the customer or noted by the veterinarian regarding a "severe case of Ringworm" or an "eye infection." This is a fact. The veterinarian who examined this horse will vouch for the condition of the horses prior to the customer taking ownership. Note: Las Vegas is a desert climate fungus like Ringworm do not grow here. There are many inconsistencies like this that are noted. Over a 2 month period of ownership we were sent numerous emails and phone calls raving about Ranger. In the conversation prior to this complaint the customer stated that "Ranger was the horse of her dreams" and if she ever needed another horse that she would come back to DWR because she was so thrilled with Ranger. One week to the next, after owning Ranger over two months we received an email demanding a full refund or a new horse if two NEWLY developed behaviors did not change. Please note: She did not ask for help, instead, made demands and insinuated that the newly developed behaviors were our fault or doing. Our reply advised her to acquire a trainer or call ours to help her through these issues. We also felt it necessary to point out that the behaviors were not present when she purchase Ranger nor were they ever mentioned over the two months of ownership while she sent us rave reviews. Please note: I personally cleaned Ranger's stall and he never had any aversion to picks or shovels. He would frequently come over and try to play with me and dump my muck bucket when I was not looking. This is obviously a behavior or problem that was developed in the customers care otherwise this would have been noticed initially upon her taking ownership of him not over two months later. I never insulted this customer, the insult was to me. A demand for a refund and a later email threatening legal recourse due to the problems caused by the customer. At this point we ended correspondence with the customer. Her stories changed daily. She was very hostile and aggressive. We always help anyone who asks for help or assistance . We want both you and your horse to be happy. Note: This customer never asked for any help, instead made demands. Anyone who has owned or been around horses knows that you teach horses how to react to you. You can change horses with negative stimuli or experiences. We had no control over the environment that the customer exposed the horse to. It is her responsibility as a horse owner to correct the problems that she created. This customer purchased a horse not a machine. Horses are animals and can be taught many things good and also bad behaviors as in this case stated here.
DWR has given me my lifelong dream of horse ownership. When I visited with Jenn she spent hours aquainting me with her horses. Once I rode Majesty it was all over. He was meant to be mine! We trail ride all over Oregon and he is an absolute dream come true. Majesty has lived up to everything Jenn described him to be. She is an honest and caring woman who continues to answer all of my horse related questions today. I cannot say enough good things about Jenn and her establishment. She is a horse lover and her horses are even nicer then she describes them to be. Thank you Jenn for finding horses me my Majesty. He is my everything.

Thank you for our three great horses Gunner, Black Magic and Evenflow. From our first phone conversation to our visit with you in person your honesty and true love of horses is blatantly evident. I appreciate the hours you spent with my family teaching us about gaited horses and horsemanship in general. I never felt rushed, pressured or uncomfortable at any time during my visit. You are truly gifted at matching horse and rider. Our horses have been a blessing in our lives and I owe you a debt of gratitude for your guidance in helping us find our perfect horses. I have read the review below and know that you are a top quality person who truly loves horses. In every business there are folks that you cannot make happy no matter what you do. All I can say is that if you are looking for the real deal, you need to go see the friendly folks at Dream Walker Ranch. Jenn and Christy made me feel like family and the entire visit was enjoyable. The facility was very clean, the horses were well cared for and they rode the very best. That is why we bought three! Keep up the good work Dream Walker Ranch. I recently purchased a horse from Dream Walker Ranch, and the entire experience was OUTSTANDING!! First off, the property itself is beautiful, clean and inviting. I was greeted by smiling friendly faces by the owner of the barn and an employee. I felt comfortable immediately and never for an instant felt like I was being "sold". The introduction and background of each horse and question I asked was thorough and honest!! The owner was even willing to admit VICES to me! (i.e. a horse disliking electric clippers) I first rode the horse I had originally come to see, but we didn't quite 'click' and he was a little too slow paced for what I was looking for, perfect for a beginner, but a little too calm for what I wanted. (I consider myself an advanced beginner- intermediate rider) However, after I explained precisely what I was looking for, Jenn (the owner) matched me with my new best friend. With EVERY quality I was looking for MY horse was just perfect! I had to have him home with me immediately. Jenn made everything so simple from suggesting a third-party vet for a check before his move to my place, to recommending a shipper who was very helpful and got him here to me safely and healthy! Overall, best horse buying experience I could ask for, and I will DEFINITELY recommend them to friends and go back for more horses when I have the accommodations!

I have already received a call from Sherry with your recommendation and she will be flying out this coming Saturday to see us! I Purchased my horse a few months ago sight unseen but after having viewed pictures and videos for $5900.00. After talking to Jennifer and telling her that this horse was for my husband, guests, daughter (who has serious back issues after an auto accident)she told me that this horse was good for all! He was called good for beginners on up. Was told he has a "scar" on his hoof but that it did not affect anything. This horse arrived seriously underweight or could see all ribs, a lower topline with muscle damage, mane was half rubbed off, and a serious case of thrush on all hoofs. The "scar" on his hoof was a rear hoof that looked like is had been vertically split down the middle. The hoof "scar" is permanent. This all is nothing compared to the horse being not suitable for beginners. He is excellent in the arena or a controlled environment but will run off or bolt with a beginner on him due to serious lack of confidence. When he arrived, he did not work off legs whatsoever, no neck reining and just an overall green broke riding horse. He is super sweet and really wants to please and is very good with ground work but never should have been sold as a "beginner horse". It rained quite a bit after his arrival so did not get much work on him for awhile and I also wanted to verify my opinion with a trainers before writing this rating as I wanted to be fair. But, I would never again purchase a horse from this facility.

Dream Walker Ranch has earned my business and trust for my next horse purchase. I visited with Matt and Jenn and all of their horses were as they described and performed very well. The horses behaved exactly how I expected them to based on their website. Across the board their facility was clean, organized and the horses looked happy healthy and very well cared for. Come next spring when the weather is right I will be back to purchase my trail mount from them.

Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you that you have done a really nice job with your website. Your horses look great and you present them very well. After visiting your ranch I am happy to say that the horses don't just look beautiful the horses perform as advertised. This is a great opperation that takes pride in their honesty and horses. I had been looking for my perfect horse for three years. Jenn and Matt spent the entire day catering to me and shoWing me their lovely horses. BY the end of the day it was difficult to decide which horse was to BE mine since they were all so nice. Storm Search won my heart! Thank you for all of the time you spent with me. You truly love your horses and are it shows in everything you do! You are the best!

I bought a horse from these peoplefor 5900.00, sight unseen, except for pictures and videos on the internet. This horse arrived 200lbs. underweight, had severe anemia,severe thrush, and was lame.They tried to blame the transporter and were insulting and stooped to name calling to both me and the transporter. These problems DID NOT occur during transport! Not possible!This seller is exactly what she claims not to be, a HORSE TRADER. And a neglectful one at that! DO NOT be fooled as I was. I am keeping the horse and am getting him straightened out and healthy. Money is the bottom line with Dream Walker Ranch.

This woman bought a horse sight unseen from us. We provided her with over 8 videos of this horse and over 10 pictures documenting his health and abilities. These photos are viewable on our website.
The horse was in excellent health while in our care. We have well over 30 photos, 8 videos documenting this and 2 independent veterinarians who will varify this.
Our horses are fed premium hay and given the very of care. We love them!
This woman had the horse picked up on by Double Bar T Transport on Tuesday January 20th. The horse was not delivered to her timely (3-4 days).
Instead the horse was on the trailer for OVER 2 WEEKS! The horse was delivered to Ms. Vicki Ewey on February 3rd. Double Bar T Transport only took hay for 4 days worth of travel.
This woman contacted us multiple times asking for help in reaching Double Bar T Transport who were not returning her calls. I contcted the shipper and inquired to the horses where abouts with poor communication in return.
This woman sent me an email when the horse arrived informing me of his poor condition. I immediately called her and the shipper. We have offered to help her get a refund from the shipper, refund her money for the shipping, but she insisted that she was not interested in placing blame.
The horse's condition was unfortunate but was not our fault. Transporting horses is stressful and they will loose weight. Especially, having been two weeks on a trailer!
We want our customers to happy with their horses. Since this did not occured we offered many solutions to help resolve this problem. We offered to refund her money, help her with aquiring a refund from the shipper but she was inflexible and resistant to any type of reinbursement.
We are not horse traders and have never traded a single horse in all of our years of business. We love our horses and our many testimonials of happy customers will attest to the quality of our horses and our excellent reputation.
This woman also informed me that the x-rays came out fine. The horse being "off in his back end" was clearly related to the 2 weeks on the trailer.
We love our horses and want our customers to be happy and the horses to have good homes. This experience highlights the fact that we seek to support our customers,our horses and are willing to help in anyway possible
