I purchased windows from Duracraft in 2010 with a lifetime warranty for labor and materials. Four of my windows need to be replaced, but the manufacturer is no longer in business. I had to pay 800+ to have replacements sent to me and Duracraft said they would install for free. We have called and emailed for 2 weeks and absolutely no response from anyone at Duracraft. The phone is answered by an answering service. We now have to pay someone to install the windows, so both lifetime guarantees were useless.

I contacted DuraCraft in January 2017 because they were highly recommended for door and window replacement. Mike from sales came to my house on February 4, 2017, measured the doors/windows and provided me with a quote. The quote was reasonable and the sample windows seemed to be of good quality, so I signed the purchase agreement and paid a deposit of over $7,000. Two sets of French doors, 36 windows. Here I am almost two months later with no new windows/doors and no idea of the status of my order. A few responses to email messages to Mike from sales resulted in a reply that "your door will be ready next week"... No mention of the rest of my order. Friday, March 24 I received a message from Donna at the company, telling me that Mike no longer works there. She said the President, Anthony Mattina, told her that, "my door will be in next week".. I asked, What about the other door and the 36 windows? No response as of yet. Donna provided me with Mr. Mattina's email and phone number. I've emailed he and Donna twice.. No response yet.. I called Mr. Mattina's number - his voicemail is not set up so I wasn't able to leave a message. I called Donna's number - an answering service said they are taking calls for the office.. I left my name/number AGAIN.. Still waiting to hear from someone at DuraCraft. Apparently they don't need the $23,000 that my purchase order is for... but they have my deposit.. Lucky them, unlucky me. Don't be unlucky too - stay away from DuraCraft

We spoke with several companies to get estimates for replacing the wood siding with Hardiplank and new gutters. They were the lowest quote we received but sat on the estimates for a while. We spoke with others who used DuraCraft for siding and seemed pleased with the job so we booked our job. The job started on time and the crew did a full walk through with me to explain what they were doing and to see if I had any questions. The were good about letting me know when they found rotted windows or any other damage and gave me the choice to fix it (which was extra of course). After each crew finished, they did a walkthrough with me to make sure everything was satisfactory. They finished in a timely manner and both the siding and paint job look fantastic! They went above and beyond. They offered to pressure wash the front of our house as well. During the siding process a window was broken and they made no fuss about ordering and installing a new piece of glass. I would highly recommend DuraCraft.
Replaced 3 sides with Hardipank. Painted and Gutters with Gutter Gaurds

We purchased 15 windows from Duracraft several years ago. Several of them have started fogging and when we called to activate the warranty, we were told that Duracraft respects warranties only on labor defects not parts. The manufacturer of the windows has gone out of business (how convenient) and so we are up the creek without a paddle. Each window cost in excess of $550. Our biggest loss on our home investment. While I understand that the company has fallen through many hardships from many fronts, the least they could have done is call all their clients and inform them of the pending bankruptcy of the manufacturer. That way those who were putting off repairs could have gotten scrambling. Bottom line, know that you could spend a ton of money on fancy windows with "lifetime warranties" only to have it all fall flat on your face.

I spend a fortune having all my windows replaced. I was told that they had a lifetime warranty. They are now fogging up and I am told that the manufacturer went out of business and I'm out of luck. Totally disappointed with the company.

Windows are fogging up due to poor construction. Duracraft says the manufacturer is out of business so we are out of luck. Don't fall for their sales pitch- no personal responsibility on their part. Their warranty is worthless.

The windows seem fine - too soon to really tell. My main problem with this company is that I had to call them to get scheduled for installation, even though they were supposed to call me as soon as the windows came in. I had one window that didn't fit properly - was told it would be re-installed in two to three weeks. Five weeks later I call them - and they have the window, just never bothered to call me. Poor customer service - hope I don't have any issues in the future!

They do not stand behind their work. They use inferior products and the warranty they give is not worth the piece of paper it is printed on. Go somewhere else!!

We had Duracraft replace about 10 windows in our house a few years ago. The seals started to break within a year or so and Duracraft was great about coming out to replace them for free. When the most recent window had a seal break, we expected the same service. It was explained to me that the window provider had gone bankrupt and that they would do the service to replace the window for free, but I would have to buy the window again. I agreed and paid a deposit to order the window. I have called and called and never heard back from them in the last 6 weeks. They don't even have anyone answering the phone any more.

We selected Duracraft of GA the contract in 2009 to replace 22 original builder grade wood windows with vinyl windows and install a 8' vinyl sliding door after comparing 3 different window companies and checking their work and references. They promoted the Gorrell windows as their window of choice. Just recently we noticed 3 panes which have exhibited broken seals and have moisture and imperfections between the glass. I just heard back from a long time employee of the company and he promised that they would resolve this in February. I was happy to hear back from the company and hoping they will resolve this matter reinforcing my decision to go with them for my home needs.

Duracraft of Georgia is an excellent company. Duracraft installed 11 energy efficient windows in the front in Sep. 2011. We completed the rest Sep. 2012. The windows are of good quality and very efficient. We noticed a big reduction in heat ahd lower utility bills. The employees are courteous and professional. We recommend Duracraft of Georgia without hesitation.

Thank you so much! Awesome review. We appreciate your repeat business.
We spent over a month meeting with companies to replace our windows & siding. Duracraft far exceeded our expectations, not only during the installation, but well after when something very minor, a strap holding the downspout came off, occurred. Their customer service is second to none and I would highly recommend them.

Attention to details matters. The guy that does the trim (aluminum flashing) around the windows and doors cannot be beat. A rep for another contractor came by my house and could not believe the quality of the work & how well it was finished out. They repaired one house after some storm damage, and you can't tell there was ever an issue.
