Dynamic Karate truly earns 5 stars in quality, service and value. Mr. Alex and his team offer exceptional instruction in karate training, but also seem to work hard to bring out the best in each and every child. My son participates in their after school program and loves is so much that we struggle to get him to leave every day! As a working parent, I value the balanced schedule of exercise, homework and socialization that makes up the after school curriculum. The karate training is an amazing added bonus. My son is getting really good and practices at home without being prompted. The studio is clean, neat, well-lit and safe. Parking is easy and the location is convenient. If you are considering a karate program, you should definitely consider Dynamic Karate.

Dynamic Karate has some pros. Instructor, Mr. Hinton is wonderful with his students. There is no contract to sign (pay month to month), fees are reasonable, and there is a discount offered for siblings and/or parents. On the flip side, Dynamic Karate has its cons. Class times are very limited. Individualized instruction is minimal. There are students of many levels per class and only one instructor. Overall, Dynamic Karate is a good option for those wanting to take karate for recreation or exercise. For those seeking martial arts training long term, I'd recommend a more established school with more class options and additional staff.

We certainly appreciate the positive aspect of this review, but take issue with the negatives. Our class times are clearly posted on our website and we *always* work with customers who need additional flexibility. Individualized instruction (which is rarely necessary) is available through private lessons, and we keep classes at appropriate student sizes (average 10 students for our 3-5 year olds, which is the program the reviewer is referring to). Furthermore, there are typically only 2-3 belt levels in class for this program, and never more than 4. We have *2* full-time instructors, each with 20+ years experience in martial arts and a real passion for working with students of all ages. Lastly, we encourage all parents of 3-5 year olds who are thinking about martial arts for their very young children to consider it as a fun, developmentally-enriching activity. There is no such thing as "martial arts training long term" for 4-year olds; developmentally, they aren't ready for the physical or mental requirements of serious, long-term training. We only offer this kind of program for much older students.
My 12 year old son is a student of Mr. Alex's, and he is an awesome instructor! His dedication to the children combined with his knowledge make for a great combination. It is the confidence building, and technique training that has helped my child to succeed, not only in Karate, but in school. He is more self assured, and more readily able to help himself due to mr Alex's tutelage. If anyone is looking for a great place to take your child this is the place!

He has such a passion for what he does, and it shows! He loves karate and teaching it, which really pays off for all his students. I was already excited to learn the techniques, but Mr. Alex really knows how to make the experience fun. Great experience!!

I increased my flexibility and stamina with Mr. Alex's karate classes. It is positive, fun, exercise/skills program that also increased my ability to defend myself. Adults need to protect themselves too!

Mr. Alex in my opinion is a very good teacher to learn karate from. He is strict in his teaching but the kids also laugh at the same time. My son enjoyed learning from his teacher. I would sit and watch them together in sparring class and you could see that Mr. Alex cared about my child. He would make sure that my child understood what he was being taught, but also he would make sure that my son was focused and attentive. I also believe that in his teaching, he had my son's best interest at heart.

I have three children pre-k to teeen, and all three have had a great time learning karate from Mr. Alex. They have fun, learn a lot, and get a good workout, too! My youngest has so much fun, but he can't wait to move up to the youth class so he can start sparring. My middle son has greatly improved his focus and athleticism. My teenage daughter has gained self-confidence and lost weight. Dynamic Karate is a great investment for my children!

I have two children, ages 8 and 4, who have taken karate with Mr. Alex for almost a year. They are both having a wonderful time, and are learning good skills and proper techniques. Mr. Alex offers a good balance of fun and structure, and keeps students of all ages engaged, progressing, and motivated.
