Although being very conveniently located, I will never go there again!! I have taken my car to this location three times. The first visit they said I needed the air filter changed, the transmission fluid flushed...basically all the services they offer. I am not a mechanic and I had them service my car with a few of the items they suggested. Same upsell the second time around. On my third visit, they said I needed to change the air filter again!! That's when I started questioning them. I asked them to go ahead and replace the air filter, but that I needed to see the old air filter. I also asked them to rotate the tires. I left and returned about 1 hour later. When they showed me the air filter, It wasn't the same (type) as what my car requires!! Also, I just noticed that they did not rotate the tires! BUt they charged me $25. Be very careful, they upsell you and if you leave, you're probably not getting the services you are paying for. Although they are very nice, it is not worth the headache!!!

I went in for the standard oil change with a $19.99 coupon (regularly $32.99). Pretty good deal, but they did try to sell me on some things that I didn't need yet, like a radiator flush and a fuel filter change. In their defense, they go off of the manufacturer's recommendations based on the mileage of your car. My dad already did a full check of my car a few months ago and he said that I didn't need those things until the 60k service. I upgraded to the VIP service for $8 and you get 10% any services and $8 off any oil change for a year. Everyone that I came into contact with was very nice, but it ended up taking about 45 minutes from when I got there to when I left!

I enjoy this EZ Lube, as well as the one on Clairemont Drive. They always educate me on things I'm not aware of about my car, they top of oil whenever I ask, for free, they bump me up to VIP, and they are always nice and friendly. However, as is the case with many repair shops, I go in to get my oil changed and I leave either spending a hundred more dollars than expected, if not more, or leave thinking of impending doom that will fall upon me because some random thing is really wrong or needs updating in my car, or so they claim. However, if it were not for them telling me these things, I doubt I'd ever even go in for a tune up now and again. Let's face it, I'm quite uninterested in car things, although I want a great running car, I really don't want to think about, or spend the money and time, on doing so. I think next time I'm due for an oil change, which I am, and I also have a running list in their computer systems of what else I need, I'll do a bit of shopping around first. I guess I should get started now! So my opinion is, great friendly service, but there may be some commission goals they need to reach which leaves the customer short in the pocket. I hope not.
