The painters from Earthly Matters did an excellent job painting the inside of our house. The workers arrived on time each morning and always took their shoes off to protect our new carpet. They were the most polite, considerate contractors we've ever worked with and the work they did was beautiful. They taped everything and covered all the furniture in plastic so there was no accidents or mess to clean up. When they finished the job and left, we were just amazed at how nice everything looked and the house was left in perfect condition. Everything in the house looks fantastic and we will use them again when we have any painting needs. We highly recommend these guys..

I had exterior and interior repaint done and worked with Ed Okenica. Ed was always on time, courteous and professional. During the initial home inspection he pointed out items that did not need repainting and was patient with me when I changed my mind about having my master bath and closet done. Project was completed on time and Ed provided me with status up dates throughout. I would hire this company again in an instant.

Following some water damage to my garage ceiling, I had a remediation company come in and cut out ceiling drywall and remove damaged insulation. Then I contracted Earthly Matters to come in and replace the insulation, repair the ceiling drywall cut-outs and repaint the garage. They repainted the garage using two Sherwin Williams paint colors I selected, one for the ceiling and walls, and one for the trim. After I contacted Earthly Matters, they sent Pat Winchester to inspect the garage and provide a quote. Mr. Winchester showed up within 48 hours and at the scheduled time. The quote seemed reasonable and I know Earthly Matters had a good reputation in my neighborhood and on Angie's List, so I engaged the company. Pat was able to schedule the work crew within the time frame he promised and the crews showed up on time. The work took two days as expected and the outcome is terrific. They did everything I expected and even took pictures of the repairs in progress for me to submit to my insurance company. I think Earthly Matters is extremely professional and I will certainly use them for future painting projects.

I had a small painting job(about 2 interior rooms) to be done at my new/resale home less than a 1 mile away from where these guys are located. They took down all my info and said someone would reach out the next day. It's been a week or more and no one called nor I received any emails. I called them based on the reviews in Kudzu but looks like they only take big jobs and don't care about any small jobs. If I were to run a business, I would have atleast had the decency to call the potential customer and said I have no availability or given some other reason. Not even acknowledging your clients calls..I wouldn't do business with these guys ever!

We repeatedly tried to make phone contact with this customer before realizing we had transposed two numbers in his phone number. When we realized our mistake we make contact and set up an appointment. The customer then called after hours the night before the appointment and cancelled.
This company does not stand behind their work. Earthly Matters replaced all my cedar siding with hardieplank due to a paint problem in August 2011.The caulk has cracked in some of the joints, Mr. Kemp claims my warranty does not specify caulk as being covered, only the paint! Be careful, during the job I hired his company to complete, his employees attached scaffolding to my roof and put several holes in it, caught my air conditioner on fire, I even caught them using the wrong wrap on my house , I was charged for hardiewrap, they substituted dow and barricade(a cheaper product) when I notice this I asked for a refund for the cost of hardiewrap vs. the other used. Mr. Kemp did credit me the difference. His employees also used a cheaper caulk, I was given the sealant recommended for hardieplank, had several cases, his painters used the 950A in place and tried to take the full containers of the more expensive caulk with them. When I confronted the painters, they acted as if they did not know what I was saying, but I saw the cases of my sealant in their van! They then admitted to their actions. MGC

We completed this job over 4 years ago and are just now hearing about issues regarding the completion of the work. We regret that this customer is not happy.
We hired Earthly Matters to pressure wash/prep/paint the exterior of our home. Sergio (team leader) and his team did a great job and we enjoyed working with their cooperative, friendly style. They had to repair the wood in several areas around windows and doors plus several pieces of hardiplank and we are very pleased with the team's carpentry work. The new exterior paint job on our home looks great. Based on the overall job they did for us, we give the Earthly Matters painting team a rating of outstanding.

Just had my home painted by Earthly Matters Painting Services today, their estimate was lowest of all I received, but quality of work was very impressive. They completed painting my home in only two days; showing up promptly at 8:00 each day and working late into the evening. They worked efficiently first pressure washing, caulking / prepping, then painting and checking with me each step of the way to make sure was done to my satisfaction. Please contact them if you want the best paint job for the lowest price ! Earthly Matters Painting Services Call Jim Riddle, 770-856-7678

Earthly matters pressure washed and painted the exterior of my home as well as the interior of a wood fence that runs the length of the house. From giving the estimate and answering my multiple questions to completing the job these guys were great. Pat Winchester gave the original estimate and stopped by every day to make sure everything was going fine and answer any questions I had about the work. Gilberto, the crew foreman, was also very conscientious. He and his crew worked diligently and efficiently to make my house beautiful again! The result was fantastic, great quality in a timely manner. I highly recommend and would use them again.

I hired Earthly Matters to pressure wash and paint the exterior of my home, pressure wash and paint horse fence, pressure wash driveway and front walkway, replace shutters, pressure wash and restain deck, and repair any areas of rotten wood. I had a big job that required a lot of work. Jim Riddle, my contact person, gave my estimate, had amazing time management skills, and followed up with the work performed on a daily basis. Jim was there every day - several times a day - making sure all the work was done to the highest standards. Miguel, the crew manager, made sure I was completely satisfied at every juncture. I was very impressed with the work done and the customer service from Earthly Matters. Highly recommend; request Jim!

A couple of years ago Earthly Matters painted my home's exterior and installed French doors to my back porch. Javier and his crew were courteous, timely and did a great job. I should have written a good review then but life intervened. In any event a couple of months ago I had a problem with the doors not shutting properly and gave them a call. Javier came out and had the problem corrected within 30 minutes...no fuss, no charge. I would recommend this company hands down.

Earthly Matters did my roof four years ago and during the ice storm I got a leak in the dining area of my home. Called Earthly matters explained the situation and they and the roofer were at my home in two days. They inspected the situation and did some minor work to rectify the situation and will be out to repaint and repair the ceiling after a few rains to make sure the problem is solved. They never questioned other peoples work or made excuses. A very professional group. I will highly recommend them.

This is my second time using this company. The first time I was so pleased that when we put our townhome up for rent and moved to our single family home, there was no question as to who we were going to use. Now that we have been moved in a couple of months, I see a lot of imperfections and have been cleaning up paint regularly (this is even after they came back and made corrections). There were paint drippings on the floor, which are hardwood, our white cabinets has paint (blue/grey) on them and just not the same care put into this job that was very clear in the first job they did for us. We were in a time crunch and they definitely accommodated that, but if we had known the quality would suffer, we would have did things much differently. We had decided to clean our home ourselves to cut back on the money being spent, but after they left it was so much dust we HAD to hire professional cleaners to come in and clean. Not happy and feel we overpaid for this job. Below are pictures of some of the examples of what the finished product was like. Clearly the work was rushed or just not enough care this time around. I have been cleaning up paint since we moved in. Not worth $3,325.00 and it goes without saying, but I will anyway....we will not use them again.

We contacted this customer as soon as we read this post and returned to take care of the issues at no charge. We believe the customer is happy and are surprised that this review wasn't amended.
These people have roofed, and painted, and held my hand through down=sizing a Buckhead home, moving into a condo, and painting a lake house. Great prices and work. Very professional, yet personal. They listen to every concern and are trustworthy.

I am not very easily satisfied with most contractors. There are a ton that don't do a good job. Fortunately for my family Pat and his team did an awesome job that we couldn't be any happier with. If you need painting, I would recommend them in a heart beat!! Great Job Guys!!
