Dirk, the owner of this shop, has done a couple of tattoos on me, and I love them both. He was very patient with what I wanted, offered great advice when what I wanted woudln't work, etc. I've had tattoo artists slap anything on me even though what I had didn't work (colors and what not) because they didn't care (and frankly I didn't know better!) but Dirk is very up front about what will look good and what won't. He's very quiet when he works, which is what I'm not used to in a tattoo artist, but I still would (and plan to) go back to him. Another artist, Kenny, who works there is also extremely talented (he's done friends' tattoos but none of mine yet). This is a great place to go to.

just moved to the area and looked for a new artist at many high profile shops and didnt like what i found, so i went on a suggestion from a bar owner in the EAV and went to meet GUZIK at east atlanta tattoo. this guy is almost to laid back, nothing seems to get him upset. i went in with a few ideas and let him do with them what he wanted to and man let me tell you this guy blew my mind when he showed me what he had worked up.we have done 3 sessions and probably have two more to go and this guy is fast and his work is solid.the guys at east atlanta tattoo are very humble and just really enjoy what they do. i would recommend these guys to any one who is looking to continue work or if its your first tattoo. i cant say enough good things about these guys.
