From the moment that we signed up with Embarq we had continuous issues with incorrect billing. We spent hours on the phone trying to resolve incorrect billing issues each month. We signed up for unlimited long distance and for over four months we were billed for each minute that we were on the long distance call.Finally after over 3 disconnection and spending over one hour at the office we were told this would be reoslved with a credit for three months.Unfortunately we made the mistake of then obtaining a cell phone when we were told that our billing was resolved...the billing for the cell phone AGAIN was a nightmare of issues and incorrect billing. We finally terminated the service...still unable to resolve the billing nightmare. Embarq has now sent our incorrect billing to a collection agnecy and doubled the bill. According to internet data this is a coomon practice. Embarq has poor service, poor employees, poor communication, and clearly their billing policies are standard pracitce of bait and switch advertising.
