What can I say? I joined Kudzu just to remark on the horrible service this place has. Does Emeril not stay on top of his staff? He needs to! The place is gorgeous, the food is remarkable and delicious. The service is so bad that I will never go here again, I will not reccomend it to anyone...but I WILL tell everyone I know to stay away until they "clean house" and start fresh. I am not going to write a novel, but THREE different wait staff treated my party horrible....and one gal knocked over a glass, whisked it off the table and huffed away like it was MY fault. The other two literally WHINED at us regarding our order. And in general they were all huffy and full of ennui! Emeril's in New Orleans is top notch and deserves 6 stars....this one, just for the food I gave it 2.

This restaurant has yummy menu items and the service is awesome. I received my marriage proposal here and it was coordinated beautiful. I didn't suspect a thing! The staff was helpful and assisted in the celebration by making sure all the little things were there. The dessert was DELICIOUS and I can't wait to go again.

We were celebrating my wife's birthday and that was noted to them when I made the reservation. Once we were seated to our table the waiter mentioned that we were celebrating my wife's birthday. We ordered a bottle of chardonnay and had to ask twice for it to be put in an ice bucket. I ordered the New Orleans gumbo and asked for Tabasco sauce. I had to ask a second time and this request took over 10 minutes. We finally ordered our main entr es after eating 3 bites of my chicken dish I noticed it was un-cooked (still pink!!). This is NOT acceptable!! The waiter said we could either cook the one you have or get you another one. What? I want an entr e that is cooked!! Finally the assistant general manager came by and had to tell me how long it will take to cook another entr e. I am aware of how long it takes. His attitude was like he was doing me a favor. They finally sent out a new cooked entr e and it was excellent. We were finally ready to order deserts. Once they arrived they did not do anything (candle, or happy birthday message etc) on the desert to acknowledge why we were here. Finally as we were leaving I spoke to the assistant general manager and asked him about the occasion we were celebrating. His comment was "Sorry we missed that would you like a glass of champagne?" I said no we are leaving. His final comment was "Next time you are in we will make your reservation one you would never forget" We will not dine at this restaurant again.

Went to Emeril's Saturday night for a delayed Valentine's dinner. Food was wonderful, as was the service. Wine was a little pricey, but an excellent recommendation. Food prices about what I expected. Would recommend as a good place for an occasion!

I became a member of Kudzu just to rate Emerils. I went for my birthday last week and cried afterwards. I was that disappointed. The menu only has about 8 entree's to choose from. The nicest server there was the bread guy. I will never eat there ever again. I will agree that the place is absolutely beautiful but I go to a restaurant to enjoy the food and not the view! And who puts a restroom upstairs? There were girls in prom dresses falling up and down the staircase just to use the restroom. Emeril get it together!

um... food was ok... not GREAT! In fact, my boyfriend only ate half of it. He couldn't take it anymore. Mine was edible, but... just not great, it's not something I'm dying to eat again. The prices were way too hight for what they were offering. And the service... not quite what this place should offer... I've never seen waitresses chit chatter so much at a normal $10/entree place! Right NEXT to your table, too. If you are having a valentine's day dinner... you are not interested in someone else's love trials and tribulations... much less three someone else's. and for god sakes... can you serve bread with a smile? I was scared to taste it! she looked so unhappy to be serving bread... Just not worth the money at all. Go to Noche in the highlands... you'll have a better time and much better food.

My husband and I ate at Emeril's about six months ago. We were very impressed with the decor and the location. The ambiance, at first glance, seemed perfect. However, it ended up being just another restaurant full of noise and bustling staff who seemed mostly lost. Our food was good, but not nearly as good as we had at NOLA another Emeril owned location in New Orleans. We were sorely disappointed in the service and attention to our needs for the price we were paying. We noticed others around us complaining as well with regard to the service. We have not been back, and I'm doubting we will. There are too many restaurants in Atlanta similarly priced where the service is always attentive and excellent.

We love Emeril's. It is a little pricey, but we always enjoy our time spent there. We go every year in February for a birthday. The first year we went we received complimentary appetizers from the chef! It was great and always is!

Ok, so shouldn't this place be about the food? It's about the amazing wine selection, which is cool, but why isn't the food better? All the hype isn't matched by the reality.
