I'm highly impressed with this optometry practice. This is the second time that i have visited Eyes R Us optical while in Atlanta visiting my relative. I am from Boca Raton and have discovered this practice two years ago when I lost my right contact lens and came in to this store to get a replacement pair. We were back to Atlanta again and my mom's eye was bothering her and was quite red. I called Eyes R Us and the staff were extremely understanding and gave me an appointment right away. Dr. Horak examined my mom very patiently and prescribed her an antibiotic which helped already on the second day. My mom was so happy that the staff and Dr. Horak spoke Spanish and that she was able to communicate with them. I found a great pair of glasses while waiting for mom and asked Dr. Horak if he had time to examine my eyes to check my prescription. He was fully booked yet gave me a full comprehensive exam (which I know was running into his lunch hour). I am very appreciative and pleased with the service that we received.

Recently went into Dr. Horaks office for a new annual exam and contact fitting, Im a keratoconus pat so finding a lens for me is very difficult, but with my insurance Dr. Horak was able to put me into a comforatble lens, that wasnt too pricey, and i see better in my glasses then ever before its so sharp and clear. The staff was wonderful especially jazzmyn she was so sweet, helped me and answered all my questions. I truly enjoyed my visit and i will be going back next year!!!

When I first moved to Atlanta, I needed to find an eye doctor. I started seeing Dr. Horac. I went to him for a few years. The last time I went, he tried putting me in a contact lenses that would have ended up costing me $600 a year. I told Dr. Horac he was out of his mind. Mind you, I've been in contacts or glasses since I was 13 months old with VERY HIGH farsightedness. Finally after some back and forth, I just let him have it. I felt he was always trying to overcharge me for stuff and abuse me as a customer. Well, I just went to a new eye doctor. Dr. Herold at Framed in Glenwood Park. After visiting Dr. Herold and expressing my concern initially with trying to put me in the most expensive lens possible, I now know Dr. Horac was definitely abusing his patients. Nor do I feel like Dr. Horac has a clue as to what he is doing as an optometrist. Dr. Herold ordered me 2 trial lenses. (1) a daily lens and (2) a toric lens to correct my astigmatism. Dr. Herold has corrected my vision to 20/20 with the toric lens. I see way better than I have in years. The only toric lens Dr. Horac ever TRIED to put me in was a lens that would cost me $600 a year. The toric lens Dr. Herold at Framed in Glenwood Park is a monthly throw-away which will cost me $160/year. DO NOT go to Dr. Horac. He over charges and is not a good optometrist. I've been in the wrong lenses for years thanks to Dr. Horac.

A very professional exam that was well explained and quick service to obtain our glasses. Our son had to wait a week to get his prescription since it was out of range and he wanted transitions lenses. I was able to get my glasses in 20 min by Dr. Horak. His staff was very friendly and I did not know that Dr. Horak also speaks fluent Spanish.

The Dr. seemed nice and seemed to know what he was doing. I emphasize seemed, because I have yet to receive my glasses I ordered from him (over 2 weeks ago). Won't know if he knows what he is doing until I see if the presciption is correct. Unfortunately after 2 weeks the office staff realized (only after my call inquiring) that they never ordered my glasses. They had multiple excuses everything from lens was contaminated at the lab. Another excuse was lens was broken at the lab. Total lies. They forgot to order the glasses and had to lie. Of course I cx'd the order and took my prescription elsewhere. Haven't received the new glasses yet, but overall my experience was not good at Eye R Us on Wendy Hill Road. I would not and will not return to this office.

I went to the Doctor's to order glasses and contacts. The receptionist told me about a rebate on the contacts and she filled out all my paperwork and mailed it in for me. Huge time save for a mom of 2. I received the rebate check in 3 weeks! Very helpful.
