Went for my annual exam. Great staff..knowledgeable and very friendly. The doctor took their time and answer all my questions. Best of all, I saw the doctor the time of my exam!!! No waiting. Will be back next year.

AVOID!!!

Avoid this place!!! They will overcharge you for random things that you don't even get. I should have known something was up when waiting for my appointment, another customer came in complaining of service/overcharging issues. Dr.Birdsong was nice, but the invalids working the front desk were actually texting during our consultation. Went in for a simple eye exam and was charged for a separate "contact fitting" that consisted of Dr. Birdsong asking me what brand I wear and giving me a sample. I was charged $65 for this. Unbelievable. I called my insurance company who said this was just a way for them to make money off people and that they don't agree with it, however there isn't anything they can do about it. You will also notice signs all over the shop and your receipt notifying you of NO RETURNS. Hmm, wonder why?! Maybe because they know they are charging you for absolute bs!

Worst in town

My insurnace said the copy is 10 dollars but they charged me 95 saying contact seating. Costco pay 85 with out insurance. They have problem with giving you a copy of HIPPA policy. The didn't say the cost upfront even after giving the insurace info 4 days in advance. Rip off. Stay away.

Insurance can be very confusing and sometimes there is a misunderstanding of patient's benefits. Most insurance companies offer a copayment for the eye exam, however, a contact lens fit is a separate exam and an additional charge. Most insurance companies do not cover this and this is an out of pocket expense. If a patient does not want a contact lens fitting they would simply pay the copay for the eye exam. We feel badly that this patient did not understand their benefits completely as we felt we explained them as best we could. We are always happy to go over a patients benefits before their eye exam so there is no confusion.

My experience from beginning to end was good-even fun. The whole staff is experienced and not only good at their jobs but seem to enjoy what they are doing. Well organized practice. Will go back again when I need glasses or an eye exam.

I had a positive experince at this optical in my neighborhood. I had a perscription but needed glasses. They have a large array of frames and differnt from what most places have. I got a great green frame I love. Go!
