I am writing this review in an effort to give adequate information to anyone contemplating moving to this facility. First of all, the minimum monthly rent amount is $465.00 (3 person room). You can request more private rooms, but monthly rent will be in the $600-$750 range. Your rent provides you with a bed/dresser, 3 meals a day and free washer/dryer services. The bed is comfortable, but you live with 2 other roommates. It is a little crowded and you have very little privacy. The meals are home-cooked and well prepared. The quantity is small, except for lunch when you normally get seconds. They provide limited cable services with about 7 local channels. No sports or movie channels available. There are very few rules/regulations. You can't eat/sleep/smoke/drink in living room and you must smoke in your bedroom or outside. TV's are turned off @ 12:00 AM midnight and turned on @ 6:00 AM. Alberta and Ray are very nice people. They are caring and they will do what they can for you. I have the utmost respect as they pretty much handle 71 tenants on their own. Tenants are many types of people. People with serious mental health issues, people with drug/alcohol issues, people with bad credit/criminal backgrounds, people on Megan's List who have been paroled to Farkas House (38% of tenants). Overall, you receive what you pay for. However, if privacy is what you're looking for, this is not the place for you (unless you have a single room).
