Dr. Feinberg might be a good doctor, but his staff is so terrible that I decided to go with another doctor and I am glad I did. They say: You are only as good as the people you surround yourself with! And he certainly doesn't have the right people. He was also not very communicative and not caring. Again, he might be a good doctor, but I am glad I went for 2nd opinion and love my new doctor.

I have just come back from a visit with Dr. Feinberg (1100 Johnson-Ferry location). I am surprised at the reviews here stating that the staff were not helpful or that people were kept waiting for long periods of time as this was not the case with me. Each person I dealt with from the receptionist, through the technician to the doctor, was extremely pleasant and professional. My appointment was at 9:00 AM and I was called in by 9:20, seen by a very knowledgeable technician/assistant (Lori?) and given an EXTREMELY thorough preliminary examination by her before seeing the doctor. It was very obvious to me (I have a history of serious eye problems and have seen a number of ophthalmologists in my lifetime in at least 3 different countries) that she was strongly competent at her job and in addition to taking a very detailed history, was exceedingly kind and reassuring when I expressed my anxiety to her about my medical problems. By the time the doctor saw me I felt that I had seen two competent professionals, not just one. I never felt rushed or ignored, I was given details about tests (including their cost as I am not insured) as they came up, and I got the strong sense that everyone in the office was happy at their jobs and with each other which made the process more pleasant than anticipated.

Dr Feinberg was referred to me by my regular eye doctor to explore the possibility of IOL lens implants. I was only correctable to 20/50 in my left eye with glasses, and the right eye was not much better. The whole process was seamless and I felt like his only paitent while I was undergoing the pre-op testing - the staff was so professional! After the procedure I was 20/20 in both eyes and had shed my glasses. Going from a -13 nearsighted lens to no glasses at all changed my sight and it also changed my appearance. I will always be greatful to him for making such a difference in my quality of life!

Dr. Feinberg is someone that you can trust with his knowledge. He has a very nice and approachable personality. But his office staff needs a lot to improve as the wait times are out of this world even though you are on time.

Dr. Feinberg is one of the best "eye docs" I've seen. He is assuring, knowledgeable and to the point. Your eyes will be in good hands! Beware, though, that his Peachtree-Dunwoody office is not well run. Too much waiting, too much chit-chat by the staff while the patients wait.
